All those parcels of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road, 100 links wide, traversing the Paria and Ohinekura Blocks respectively. Portion traversing the Paria Block containing 2 acres 2 roods 14 perches, and that portion traversing the Ohinekura Block containing 2 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more or less. Commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Paria Block 814 links in a south-westerly direction from the Waipaoa River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly for a total distance of 5286 links to the Waipaoa River: as the same is delineated on Road Map No. 221, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road, 100 links wide, traversing the Matawhero No. 1 Block; commencing at a point on the proper left bank of the Waipaoa River opposite to the eastern terminal of a road (containing 5 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less) which traverses the Paria and Ohinekura Blocks, and taken under warrant of His Excellency the Governor dated the 12th June, 1879, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly for a distance of 903 links or thereabouts to a road described in Gazette No. 40, 1873: as the same is delineated on Road Map No. 221, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All those parcels of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 30 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road, 100 links wide, traversing the Pouriuri and Ahikapura Blocks respectively. Portion traversing the Pouriuri Block containing 1 acre and 26 perches, and that portion traversing the Ahikapura Block containing 3 acres and 4 perches, more or less. Commencing at a point on the north-east boundary of Block Opou No. 1 163·8 links south-east of Boundary Peg No. IX. of that block, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a total distance of 4197 links or thereabouts to a point on the south-west boundary of the Whenuakura Block 805·8 links, along that boundary in a north-west direction from the Waipaoa River: as the same is delineated on Road Map No. 222, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 22 perches, more or less, situate in the Mata Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Ahi-o-te-Atua Block; commencing at a distance of 443 links or thereabouts to the north-east of Road Peg No. 27 on the road leading from Ormond to Waiapu, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly generally for a distance of 2638 links to the Makarika River: as the same is delineated on Road Map No. 182, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 13 acres and 12 perches, more or less, situate in the Mata Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Makarika Block; commencing at a point on the proper left bank of the Makarika River opposite to the northern termination of a road (containing 2 acres 2 roods 22 perches, more or less) which traverses the Ahi-o-te-atua Block, and taken under warrant of His Excellency the Governor dated the 4th August, 1887, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly generally for a distance of 11675 links or thereabouts to the Mata River; and thence westerly along the banks of that river a further distance of 1400 links: as the same is delineated on Road Map No. 182, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All those parcels of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 44 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, situate in the Mata Survey District, and being a road, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Matahiia, Aorangi Maunga, and Aorangi Maunga No. 1 Blocks respectively. Portion traversing the Matahiia Block containing 24 acres and 26 perches, that portion traversing the Aorangi Maunga Block containing 20 acres 1 rood 24 perches, and that portion traversing the Aorangi Maunga No. 1 Block containing 22 perches, more or less. Commencing at a point on the proper right bank of the Mata River opposite to where the above-mentioned road (containing 13 acres and 12 perches) strikes the Mata River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing westerly along the bank of that river for a distance of 1000 links or thereabouts; and thence north-westerly and westerly generally to a further distance of 42873 links to its junction with the southern boundary of the Taitai Block 129·4 links in a north-westerly direction from Angle Peg XXXII. of that block: as the same is delineated on Road Maps Nos. 182A, 182B, and 182C, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All those parcels of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 27 acres and 14 perches, more or less, situate in the Mata and Mangaoporo Survey Districts, and being a road, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Taitai No. 1 and Tapuwaeroa Blocks respectively. Portion traversing the Taitai No. 1 Block containing 6 acres 2 roods 14 perches, and that portion traversing the Tapuwaeroa No. 1 Block containing 20 acres 2 roods, more or less. Commencing at a point 219·5 links in a north-westerly direction from Boundary Peg T VIII. of the Tairai No. 1 Block, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a total distance of 15760 links or thereabouts to the Tapuwaeroa River; and thence westerly along that river to its confluence with the Mangapeka Stream: as the same is delineated on Road Maps Nos. 182C and 182D, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All those parcels of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 20 perches, and 7 acres 1 rood respectively, more or less, situate in the Waikohu Survey District, and being a road traversing the Rangatira and Rangatira No. 1 Blocks:—
Road containing 5 acres 3 roods 20 perches: Commencing at the Waipaoa River, about 2500 links north of the south-east corner of the Rangatira Block. Bounded towards the south by lines, 2900 and 267·2 links; towards the south-west by a line, 239 links; towards the north by lines, 470·8 and 2477·7 links; towards the west by a line, 1130 links; and towards the east by the Waipaoa River aforesaid to the commencing-point.
Road containing 7 acres 1 rood: Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the Rangatira No. 1 Block 4070 links from the most easterly point of the said block. Bounded towards the south-west and south-east by lines, 3533·8, 572·5, 1145·6, 19·5, 699·5, and 250 links; towards the west by the Waipaoa River; towards the north-west and north-east by lines, 92·5, 1096·4, 614·9, 3392·2, and 239 links to the commencing-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 164A, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All those parcels of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 68 acres 2 roods and 24 perches, more or less, situate in the Mata and Tokomaru Survey Districts, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Poroikamoana and Waipiro Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks respectively. Portion traversing the Poroikamoana Block containing 14 acres, that portion traversing the Waipiro No. 2 Block containing 10 acres 1 rood 7 perches, and that portion traversing the Waipiro No. 1 Block containing 44 acres 1 rood 17 perches, more or less. Commencing at a distance of 658·4 links or thereabouts to the north-west of Peg No. 1, on the south-west boundary of the Poroikamoana Block, being the middle of the Tolago-Waipiro Inland Road; and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a total distance of 68650 links or thereabouts to a point about 52 links south-east of Road Peg No. 435, near the mouth of the Waipiro Creek; as the same are delineated on Road Maps Nos. 103, 104, and 105, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.
