Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those parcels of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 24 acres 2 roods 34 perches, 5 acres and 16 perches, and 1 acre 2 roods 1 perch respectively, more or less, situate in the Paeroa Survey District, and being road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the western portion of the Paeroa No. 4B Block (No. 4440¹):—

Road containing 24 acres 2 roods 34 perches: Commencing at the middle of the northern termination of the road containing 2 acres 2 roods 19 perches which traverses the Paeroa East No. 3B Block, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing northerly and north-westerly for a distance of 24708 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the western boundary of the Paeroa East No. 4B Block.

Road containing 5 acres and 16 perches: Commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Paeroa East No. 4B Block at a distance of 7350 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly and north-westerly for a total distance of 5105 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the western boundary of the aforesaid block.

Road containing 1 acre 2 roods 1 perch: Commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Paeroa East No. 4B Block at a distance of 270 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly, southerly, and westerly for a total distance of 1506 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the western boundary of the aforesaid block.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Maps Nos. 4702B, 4702E, and 4702F, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 28th August, 1888.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 19 perches, more or less, situate in the Paeroa Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the north-western portion of the Paeroa East No. 3B Block (No. 4440F); commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Paeroa East No. 3B Block at a distance of 1075 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly generally for a distance of 2617 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the western boundary of the aforesaid block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4702F, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Road containing 17 acres 3 roods 21 perches: Commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Motungarara Block at a distance of 105·8 links or thereabouts from its south-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly and northerly generally for a total distance of 17945 links or thereabouts to its junction with the Tauranga-Te Puke Road.

Road containing 2 acres 3 roods 17 perches: Commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the Motungarara Block at a distance of 2786 links or thereabouts from its south-western angle, being the middle of the road last above referred to; and thence continuing northerly generally for a distance of 28058 links or thereabouts to its junction with the road first hereinbefore described.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Map No. 4700B, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 11 perches, more or less, situate in the Patutahi Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Rakaukaka Block (No. 772); commencing at the north-west corner of Section No. 20, Suburbs of Patutahi Township. Bounded towards the south-east by lines, 1889 and 3213·6 links; towards the south-west by a line, 101 links; towards the north-west by lines, 3214·4 and 1827 links; and towards the north-east by a line, 127·7 links, to the commencing-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 219, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 10th December, 1878.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 34 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Matawhero No. 1 Block; commencing at a point on the south-east boundary of the Matawhero No. 1 Block aforesaid at a distance of 1341·1 links or thereabouts from the north-
