Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrants of the dates given in the said
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those parcels of land containing by admeasurement 2
acres 3 roods 10 perches, 3 acres 1 rood 5 perches, and 1
acre and 33 perches respectively, more or less, situate in the
Wairere Survey District, and being roads, 100 links wide
and upwards, traversing portions of the Waiharakeke West
Block No. 2A (No. 3448B):—
Road, 200 links wide, containing 2 acres 3 roods 10 perches:
Commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the
Waiharakeke West No. 2A Block at a distance of 6476·5
links or thereabouts from its western angle, being the middle
of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-
easterly for a distance of 1407 links or thereabouts to its
junction with another road.
Road containing 3 acres 1 rood 5 perches: Commencing at
a point on the south-western boundary of the Waiharakeke
West No. 2A Block at a distance of 780·8 links or thereabouts
from its southern angle, being the middle of the road above
referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly for a dis-
tance of 3266 links or thereabouts to the northern boundary
of the aforesaid block.
Road containing 1 acre and 33 perches: Commencing at a
point on the south-eastern boundary of the Waiharakeke
West No. 2A Block, being the middle of the termination of a
road-line which traverses the Waiharakeke No. 2B Block
and the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing north-westerly for a distance of 1209 links or
thereabouts to its junction with another road.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same
are delineated on Map No. 4633A, deposited in the Survey
Office, Auckland.
Date of Governor’s warrant, 3rd December, 1885.
All those parcels of land containing by admeasurement 17
acres 3 roods and 1 acre 1 rood 24 perches respectively,
more or less, situate in the Wairere Survey District, and
being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Aratiatia
Block (No 4266):—
Road containing 17 acres 3 roods: Commencing at a point
on the south-western boundary of the Waiharakeke West
No. 2A Block, being the middle of the termination of a road
which traverses that block (containing 3 acres 1 rood 5 perches,
more or less) and the middle of the road above referred to;
and thence continuing south-westerly for a distance of 17760
links or thereabouts to the western boundary of the Aratiatia
Block aforesaid.
Road containing 1 acre 1 rood 24 perches: Commencing
at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the Waihara-
keke No. 2B Block (No. 3448²ᵇ), being the middle of the
termination of a road (containing 1 acre 1 rood 38 perches)
which traverses that block and the middle of the road above
referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly for a dis-
tance of 1392 links or thereabouts to the south-eastern boun-
dary of the Aratiatia Block aforesaid.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same
are delineated on Map No. 4633A, deposited in the Survey
Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1
acre 1 rood 38 perches, more or less, situate in the
Wairere Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links
wide, traversing the Waiharakeke No. 2B Block (No. 3448²ᵇ);
commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the
Waiharakeke No. 2B Block (No. 3448²ᵇ) at a distance of
868·4 links or thereabouts from its southernmost angle,
being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing north-westerly for a distance of 1488 links or
thereabouts to its junction with another road: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated
on Map No. 4633A, deposited in the Survey Office, Auck-
land.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2
acres 1 rood 18 perches, more or less, situate in the
Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line, 100
links wide, traversing the north-western portion of the
Hungahunga No. 1 Block (Nc. 3496); commencing at a
point on the southern side of the road at the north-
western angle of the Hungahunga No. 1 Block (No.
3496) at a distance of 249 links or thereabouts from the
angle-peg of that road, being the middle of the road above
referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly for a dis-
tance of 2365 links or thereabouts to its junction with
another road at the south-western boundary of the aforesaid
block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the
same is delineated on Map No. 4634c, deposited in the
Survey Office, Auckland.
