Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that SAMUEL CARROLL, of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, Agent, has applied, on behalf of ALEXANDER GEDDES, of 71, Regent Street, Sydney, in the Colony of New South Wales, to register, under “The Trade Marks Act, 1866,” the trade mark of which the following is a description:—

Description of Trade Mark.

A label of oblong form, divided into four parts, placed one beside the other, and so disposed that the label may be wrapped round a solid of hexahedron form, a portion of the label showing on each of the four sides of the solid.

On the first division is printed in capital letters the words “Orange Blossom Soap,” and an oblong space left for further printed matter. On the second division is printed in capital letters the words “Orange Blossom.” On the third division is a circle representing an orange, on which is illustrated a sprig of an orange-tree, with blossoms, and sprays shooting off into the second and fourth divisions of the label.

Placed over and partially covering the orange blossoms on the orange is a scroll, on which is printed the words “Orange Blossom Soap;” above the orange is the name “A. Geddes;” and below the orange the words, in capital letters, “For Toilet, Bath, Nursery, Marine, Military, and Laundry Uses.” Below these words an oblong space is left, containing the words “Full directions enclosed.” The fourth space contains printed, in capital letters, the words “Orange Blossom.”

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade Mark shall apply.
