the members of Hodbay's Canterbury Co-operative
Stores Company (Limited), held on the 12th day of Novem-
ber, 1888, a special resolution was passed requiring the said
company to be wound up voluntarily.

- That the capital of the company is £50,000, divided into

- That calls to the amount of £1 per share have been
made, under which the sum of £10,000 has been received. - That the amount of all moneys received on account of
estates under administration during the six months ended
the 30th September, 1888, is nil. - That the amount of all moneys paid on account of
estates under administration during the six months ended
the 30th September, 1888, is nil. - That the amount of money-balance held to the credit
of estates under administration on the 30th September, 1888,
was £450. - That the liabilities of the company on the 30th
September, 1888, were—Debts owing to sundry constituents,
£1,938 5s. 5d.; on estimated liabilities, say, £41 15s. - The assets of the company on that day were—On
mortgage and freehold, £9,352 0s. 8d.; owing by con-
stituents, £1,317 7s. 4d.; cash at bankers, £1,232 14s.;
other assets, £510 5s. 1d.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously
believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions
of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled
"The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882."

meeting of the above-named company, held on the
19th day of September, 1888, the special resolutions here-
under set forth were passed, and at a further extraordinary
meeting held on the 11th day of October, 1888, duly con-
firmed:—
- "That the Whangaroa Rafting Company (Limited) be
wound up voluntarily." - "That Mr. George Holdship, of Auckland, Timber Mer-
chant, be appointed Liquidator, for the purpose of winding-
up the affairs of the said company."
