Trustees appointed for the Pahatanui Public Hall Site.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by "The Special Powers and Con-
tracts Act, 1886," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
the under-mentioned persons to hold, as Trustees, the parcel
of land described in the Schedule hereto, upon trust, as a
site for a public hall under the provisions of "The Public
Reserves Act, 1881," and any Acts amending the same,
namely:—
FREDERICK ASHBURTON DEATH,
ALFRED JAMES BRADY, and
JAMES LONDON.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Wellington,
containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being
Section No. 116, Block IX., Paikakariki Survey District.
Bounded on the north-west, north-east, and south-east by
Section No. 115; and on the south-west by a public road:
as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office
of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this eighth day of November, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-eight.

Person appointed to receive Statutory Declarations under

"The Justices of the Peace Act Amendment Act, 1888."

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
eighth section of "The Justices of the Peace Act
Amendment Act, 1888," I, Sir William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby notify and declare that
ALBERT BENNER,
of Maketu, in the said colony, a person holding the office of
Postmaster under "The Post Office Act, 1881," at Maketu
aforesaid, is authorised to take and receive statutory decla-
rations under the two hundred and thirty-fourth section of
"The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882."

As witness my hand, this eighth day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.
