Notice of Hearing of Application for a Patent.

Wellington, 2nd October, 1888.
NO. 3279.—WILLIAM ANDREW YOUNG, of Wellington,
New Zealand, Omnibus Proprietor, has deposited at
this office a specification of an invention for improvements
in vehicles to be used on common roads and street tram-
ways.
And I have appointed Friday, the 22nd day of February
next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the
said application and all objections thereto; and I require
all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any
such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 7th day of
February next, at this office, particulars in writing of their
objections to the said application, otherwise they will be
precluded from urging the same.

BUNTER CLAPCOTT, of Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand,
Gentleman, has deposited at this office a specification
of the said invention; and I have appointed Friday,
the 22nd day of February next, at 11 o'clock in the fore-
noon, at this office, to hear the said application and all
objections thereto; and I require all persons having an

Description of Land: Block I., all the sections in this
block are broken, and forest lands of fair quality, except 13
and 14, which have half the area of each open fern lands;
they are well-watered, and near Te Puke Settlement. Block
II., soil of lots good, growing fern, open and swampy, upon
main road in Te Puke Settlement. Block IX., all these
sections are undulating forest and open lands of good
quality, situated in the Te Puke Settlement.
