tree, 1 acre grass, remainder broken, mixed bush; 43, heavy

Description of Land: All these sections are open and forest lands, situated on the slopes of Pirongia Mountain,
extending to the Waipa River. They are easily reached, and
generally fair land.

Description of Land: Nearly all mixed bush, with a little
open land, accessible by road.

WHANGAREI COUNTY.
HUKERENUl SURVEY DISTRICT.
Description of Land: Open land, on main Opuawhanga Road,
about 5 acres mixed bush.

Description of Land: Forest and open lands, situated on
the Wairua River. These lands, though undulating, are in
some parts liable to floods.

PARISH OF PARAHAKI.
Description of Land: All open land, of fair quality.

PARISH OF RUATANGATA.
Description of Land: Undulating, fern and tea-tree, and
some burnt bush.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the third section of “The Land
Act Amendment Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of
the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is
provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection,
after the lapse of a period of forty-five days from the date of
the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon
the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price
per acre respectively set opposite such land in the said
Schedule.
