A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable, for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui-Wai-
taki Railway, to take further land at Perry's Siding, in
addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the
said railway:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, in the name and on
behalf of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, and as his duly-appointed Deputy, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on him by "The Public
Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling him in that behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.
The parcel of land mentioned hereunder:β€”

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land required to be taken. Being Portion of Section No. Situated in Block No. Situated in the Survey District of
A. R. P. 1 2 20 28 V. Oamaru.

In the Provincial District of Otago; as the said parcel of
land is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 15804, deposited in the office of the Minister for
Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of the Honourable Sir James
Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice, for and on
behalf of His Excellency the Governor, and as
his duly-appointed Deputy, in and over Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Depen-
dencies; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this tenth day of August, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
eight.

kato Railway: Kaipara Section.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken for a further portion of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway, namely, Kaipara Section:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be
observed and performed prior to the taking of such lands in
the manner hereby provided have been observed and per-
formed:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, in the name and on
behalf of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, and as his duly-appointed Deputy, in exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred by section one hun-
dred and thirty of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling him in
that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands
mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the
further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore speci-
fied.

formed:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, in the name and on
behalf of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, and as his duly-appointed Deputy, in exercise of

other power and authority in anywise enabling him in that
behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land men-
tioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the portion of the
