And I have appointed Tuesday, the 18th day of September next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said applications and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 3rd day of September next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to any of the said applications, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.

Sale of Runs and Reserves, Westland.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in terms of section 180 of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of section 23 of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” the lands enumerated below will be submitted to public auction at the Land Office, Hokitika, on Wednesday, the 20th June next, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

SCHEDULE.

PASTORAL LANDS;—
Run No. 43: Makawiho River, containing 19,000 acres; upset rental, £19 per annum; term, ten years from the 1st March, 1889.
Run No. 20: Paringa River, containing 14,000 acres; upset rental, £14 per annum; term, ten years from the 1st September, 1889.
Reserve within Ross Municipality: Part of Reserve No. 13, containing 2 acres 1 rood 24 perches; fixed annual rental £1; term, seven years; valuation for improvements, £63.10s.
