Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land herein-after described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

  1. FRANK ROCHFORT.—19 acres 2 roods, being Rural Section 1036, in the Grey District. Occupied by Applicant. Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

WHEREAS an application has been lodged with me made by JOHN GLASS, JOHN WATSON, THOMAS GROVER, HENRY BLOXHAM, JOHN TAMBLYN, HENRY TOMS, and WALTER SERCOMBE, the registered Proprietors of Section 9, Block I., Town of Roxburgh, for the issue to them of a provisional certificate of title in lieu of certificate of title for said land, dated 23rd February, 1875, Register-book, Vol. xvii., folio 224, such certificate of title having been lost: I hereby give notice that I intend to issue a provisional certificate of title for the said land to the said John Watson, John Glass, Thomas Grover, Henry Bloxham, John Tamblyn, Henry Toms, and Walter Sercombe, all of Roxburgh, Settlers, unless caveat be lodged here forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of publication hereof.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a dealing affecting Lease No. 1591, CORNELIUS CUFF, ALBERT CUFF, and FRANK GRAHAM to THOMAS VOYCE and JOSEPH VOYCE, and the original lease not having been produced, I hereby give notice that I will dispense with the production of the said lease, and register such dealing, at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

Mining Notice.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Wellington Perseverance Gold-mining Company of Terawhiti (Limited), as a Limited Company, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1886.”

  1. The name of the company is to be the Wellington Perseverance Gold-mining Company of Terawhiti (Limited).
  2. The place of intended operations is at Terawhiti, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
  3. The registered office of the company will be situated at the corner of Lambton Quay and Willis Street, in the City of Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
  4. The nominal capital of the company is twenty-four thousand pounds sterling, in twenty-four thousand shares of one pound sterling each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty-four thousand, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in the company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is nil.
  8. The name of the Manager is William Hayes.
