middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing
north-easterly generally for a distance of 12250 links or
thereabouts to the Waihora River: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No.
4550c, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 16th July, 1888.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 37 acres and 2
perches, 1 rood 17·6 perches, and 3 roods 3 perches respec-
tively, more or less, situated in the Waingaromia Survey
District, and being portions of a line of road traversing the
Waingaromia No. 3A Block.

Portion containing 37 acres and 2 perches: Commencing
at a point on the northern bank of the Waihora River oppo-
site to the middle of the termination of the road which
traverses the Paraeroa Block (No. 5266), being the middle of
the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-
easterly generally for a distance of 37013 links or thereabouts
to a point on the north-western boundary of the Waingaromia
No. 3A Block aforesaid at a distance of 16 chains or there-
abouts from its north-western angle.

Portion containing 1 rood 17·6 perches: Commencing at a
point on the western side of the road hereinbefore described
at a distance of 5525 links or thereabouts from the north-
western boundary of the Waingaromia No. 3 Block, being the
middle of the road last above referred to; and thence con-
tinuing westerly for a distance of 360 links or thereabouts to
the western boundary of the Waingaromia No. 3A Block
aforesaid.

Portion containing 3 rood 3 perches: Commencing at a
point on the north-western boundary of the Waingaromia
No. 3 Block at a distance of 735 links or thereabouts from its
north-western angle. Bounded towards the east by a line,
314·9 links; towards the south by lines, 221·2 links and 161·1
inks respectively; and towards the north-west by a line, 535
inks or thereabouts, to the commencing-point.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are
delineated on Maps Nos. 4550c, 4550D, and 4550E, deposited in
the Survey Office, Auckland.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods and 32
perches, 34 acres 3 roods 30 perches, 2 acres 2 roods 4
perches, and 3 acres and 24 perches respectively, more or
less, situate in the Waingaromia Survey District, and being
road-lines, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the
Waingaromia No. 1 Block (No. 3553).

Road containing 2 roods 32 perches: Commencing at a
point on the south-eastern boundary of the Waingaromia
No. 1 Block at a distance of 20 chains or thereabouts from
its south-eastern angle. Bounded towards the west by a line,
195·7 links; towards the north-west by a line, 377·1 links;
towards the north by a line, 215·7 links; and towards the
south-east by a line, 617 links, to the commencing-point.

Road containing 34 acres 3 roods 30 perches: Commenc-
ing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the Wainga-
romia No. 1 Block at a distance of 2860 links or thereabouts
from its south-eastern angle, being the middle of the road
last above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly
and north-easterly generally for a total distance of 34930
links to another point on the north-western boundary of the
Arakihi Block (No. 3554) at a distance of 2522 links or
thereabouts from the southernmost angle of the Wainga-
romia No. 2 Block.

Road containing 2 acres 2 roods 4 perches: Commencing
at a point on the western side of the road last hereinbefore
described at a distance of 201 chains or thereabouts to the
south-westward of the south-eastern boundary of the Wai-
garomia No. 1 Block, being the middle of the road last above
referred to; and thence continuing northerly and easterly
for a total distance of 2749 links or thereabouts to its junc-
tion again with the road last hereinbefore described.

Road containing 3 acres and 24 perches: Commencing at
a point on the south-western boundary of the Waingaromia
No. 2 Block at a distance of 1440 links or thereabouts from
its southernmost angle, being the middle of the road last
above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly
generally for a distance of 3150 links or thereabouts to a
point on the north-western boundary of the Arakihi Block
(No. 3554) at a distance of 2547 links or thereabouts to the
south-westward of the southernmost angle of the Wainga-
romia No. 2 Block aforesaid:

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same
are delineated on Maps Nos. 4550E and 4550F, deposited in
the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 3 roods 20
perches, more or less; situate in the Waingaromia Survey
District, and being a line of road, 100 links wide, traversing
the Waingaromia Block; commencing at a point on the
north-western boundary of the Waingaromia No. 3 Block at

a distance of 2685 links or thereabouts from its north-western
angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and
thence continuing north-westerly generally for a distance of
21830 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is
delineated on Map No. 4550G, deposited in the Survey Office,
Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 16th July, 1887.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 6 acres and 7 perches,
more or less, situate in the Waingaromia Survey District,
and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Ma-
gaoae No. 1A Block; commencing at a point on the northern
boundary of the above-named block at a distance of 1434
links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle, being the
middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing
south-westerly generally for a distance of 6534 links or
thereabouts to a point on the southern boundary of the
aforesaid block, being the northern termination of a road-
line, containing 11 acres 1 rood 22 perches or thereabouts,
which traverses the north-western portion of the Mangaoae
No. 1 Block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as
the same is delineated on Map No. 4550B, deposited in the
Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 16th July, 1887.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 17 acres and 18 perches,
more or less, situated in the Waingaromia Survey District,
and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing
portions of the Waingaromia No. 3A, the Paraeroa (No. 4720),
Waihora No. 2c, and Waihora No. 2A Blocks; com-
encing at a point on the eastern side of a road con-
taining 37 acres and 2 perches, more or less, which tra-
verses the Waingaromia No. 3A Block at a distance of 155
links or thereabouts from the Waihora River, being the
middle of the road above referred to; and thence con-
tinuing easterly generally, for a total distance of 17125
links or thereabouts, through the Waingaromia No. 3,.Pa-
raeroa, Waihora No. 2c, and Waihora No. 2A Blocks, to a
point on the river aforesaid at the northern boundary of the
latter block; portions of the aforesaid road traversing the
Waingaromia No. 3A Block containing 1 acre and 30 perches,
3 acres and 9 perches, 1 acre 2 roods 5 perches, 1 rood 20
perches, and 2 acres 1 rood 8 perches respectively, more or
less; portions traversing the Paraeroa Block containing 5
acres and 20 perches; portions traversing the Waihora No.
2c Block, containing 1 acre 3 roods 13 perches, 3 roods 28
perches, and 2 roods 32 perches, more or less; and portions
traversing the Waihora No. 2A Block containing 13 perches,
more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4550H,
deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most
Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and
Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the
Seal of the said Colony, at the Government
House, at Wellington, this seventh day of May,
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty-eight.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authoritie
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrants of the dates given in the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 8 perches and
4 acres and 2 perches respectively, more or less, situate in
the Uawa Survey District, and being road-lines, each 100 links
wide, traversing the Paremata Block:—

Road containing 2 roods 8 perches: Commencing at a point
on the subdividing-line of Paremata No. 1, at a distance of
700 links or thereabouts from the north-western boundary of
