THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Orakei Bridge, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly generally for a distance of 1640 links or thereabouts to the eastern boundary of Orakei Block aforesaid at the termination of another road.
As the same are delineated on Maps Nos. 3862A and 3862B, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.
Date of Governor’s warrant, 5th May, 1885.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, situate in the Thames Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the north-western corner of Te Horete No. 3A Block (No. 3804A); commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of Te Horete Block No. 3A at a distance of 600 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly for a distance of 550 links or thereabouts to the Apakura Creek: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 3953B, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.
Date of Governor’s warrant, 14th November, 1885.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 20 perches, 1 acre 1 rood 25 perches, and 6 acres 2 roods, more or less, situate in the Hokianga Survey District, and being road-lines, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing portions of the Pakanae No. 2 Block (No. 3610A):—
Road containing 1 acre and 20 perches: Commencing at a point in the Hokianga River, on the western boundary of the Pakanae No. 2 Block, at a distance of 50 links or thereabouts to the north of the mouth of the Awapokanui Creek, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence along the aforesaid creek for a distance of 740 links or thereabouts to the Waikiri Stream.

Portion containing 1 acre 1 rood 25 perches; Commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of Te Tou o te Kuru Block (No. 4428) at a distance of 50 links or thereabouts from the Awapokanui Creek, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly along that creek for a distance of 1040 links or thereabouts.

Road containing 6 acres 2 roods: Commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Pakanae No. 2 Block at a distance of 95 links or thereabouts from its south-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly generally for a distance of 6510 links or thereabouts, partially along the banks of Te Kauerau and Awapokanui Creeks, to the eastern termination of the road last above hereinbefore described.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Map No. 4417, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 11·6 perches, more or less, situate in the Thames Survey District, and being a road-line, 66 links wide, traversing the Karangaparoa Block (No. 2905); commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Karangaparoa Block (No. 2905) at a distance of 360 links from its south-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing northerly generally for a distance of 1620 links to the northern boundary of the aforesaid block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 3953C, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the land specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less, situated in the Mata Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Taoroa Block (No. 4600); commencing at a point on the Mangapekapeka Stream at a distance of 1720 links or thereabouts from its confluence with the Mata River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a distance of 22438 links to the Mata River; and thence north-easterly along the bank of that river for a further distance of 6178 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Maps Nos. 4590A and 4590B, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods 1 perch, more or less, situated in the Mata Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Makarika Block; commencing at a point on the proper right bank of the Mata River, opposite to the northern termination of a road, containing 28 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less, which traverses the Taoroa Block (No. 4600), and taken under warrant of His Excellency the Governor, dated 4th August, 1887, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-wasterly along the bank of that river for a distance of 1150 links or thereabouts; and thence south-easterly generally for a further distance of 7380 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4590B, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 37 perches, more or less, situated in the Waimata Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Waihora Block (No. 3523); commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Waihora No. 1 Block, at a distance of 1337 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly generally for a distance of 6980 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road which traverses Te Tao Block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4501, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 18 perches, more or less, situated in the Waimata Survey District, and being a portion of a road-line of irregular width traversing the western side of the Waihora No. 1 Block (No. 3523A); commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Waihora No. 1 Block, at a distance of 1337 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly for a distance of 325 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4501, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.
Date of Governor’s warrant, 17th May, 1887.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 3 roods, 7 acres 3 roods 32 perches, and 2 acres 1 rood 34 perches respectively, more or less, situated in the Waimata and Waikohu Survey Districts, and being road-lines, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Ruangarehu Block (No. 820B):—

Road containing 13 acres 3 roods: Commencing at a point in the middle of the dividing stream between the Ruangarehu No. 1 and the Ruangarehu Blocks, at a distance of 430 links or thereabouts from the Waipaoa River, being the northern termination of a road which traverses the Ruangarehu No. 1 Block and the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly and westerly for a total distance of 13752 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road.

Road containing 7 acres 3 roods 32 perches: Commencing at a point on the northern side of the road above described at a distance of 8119 links or thereabouts from its western termination, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing northerly and easterly for a total distance of 7704 links to the Waipaoa River.

Road containing 2 acres 1 rood 34 perches: Commencing at a point on the northern side of the road first hereinbefore described at a distance of 4704 links or thereabouts from its western termination, being the middle of the road last above
