2 acres 1 rood 36 perches respectively, more or less, situate in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the Maungatapu Block (No. 1303):—

Road containing 23 acres 2 roods 11 perches: Commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Maungatapu Block at a distance of 20 chains or thereabouts from the Piako River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing southerly generally to its junction with another road hereinafter next described.

Road containing 37 acres 1 rood 6 perches: Commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the Maungatapu Block at a distance of 310 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road last above referred to; and thence continuing westerly generally to its junction with the road hereinbefore described; and thence to the Piako River for a total distance of 37039 links or thereabouts.

Road containing 21 acres and 28 perches: Commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the above-mentioned block at a distance of 310 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road last above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block for a distance of 15636 links or thereabouts; and thence westerly to the Piako River, or for a total distance of 21175 links or thereabouts.

Road containing 2 acres 1 rood 36 perches: Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 3854 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road last above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly for a distance of 2476 links or thereabouts to its junction with the road hereinbefore described (containing 37 acres 1 rood 36 perches, more or less).

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Maps Nos. 4537t and 4537u, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 3rd March, 1880.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 11 perches and 7 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less, situate in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the Pakarau Pa Block (No. 767):—

Road containing 3 acres 3 roods 11 perches: Commencing at a point on the western boundary of the above-named block at a distance of 8245 links from Trig. Station H, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly generally to the Waitoa River.

Road containing 7 acres 3 roods 33 perches: Commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 50 links or thereabouts from its south-eastern angle; and thence continuing north-westerly for a distance of 7960 links or thereabouts to its junction with the road above described.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Map No. 4537v, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 2 roods 5 perches, more or less, situate in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing Te Whakahongi Block (No. 1534); commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 3974 links or thereabouts from its southernmost angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly generally for a distance of 21530 links or thereabouts to the Totorokura Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4537, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 24 perches and 6 acres 2 roods respectively, more or less, situate in the Waitoa and Maungakawa Survey Districts, and being road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the Waihekau No. 1 Block (No. 3407):—

Road containing 5 acres 1 rood 24 perches: Commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 3320 links or thereabouts from the Piraunui Stream, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly for a distance of 5400 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road taken under Proclamation, Gazette, 1885, page 92.

Road containing 6 acres 2 roods: Commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 12350 links or thereabouts from the commencing-point of the road hereinbefore described, being the middle of the road last above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly for a distance of 65 chains or thereabouts to its junction with the road aforesaid proclaimed by Gazette, 1885, page 92.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Map No. 4537x, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 20th November, 1882.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, situate in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, intersecting Te Waikaukau Block (No. 1105); commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the above-named block at a distance of 8065 links or thereabouts from the Piahonui Stream, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing westerly generally for a distance of 1720 links or thereabouts to the Piahonui Stream aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4537y, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 38 perches, more or less, situate in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the north-western portion of the Hungahunga No. 1 Block (No. 3496); commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 2160 links or thereabouts from its north-westernmost angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing northerly for a distance of 860 links; and thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the aforesaid block for a total distance of 4000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4537z, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less, situate in the Wairere Survey District, and being a road-line, 150 links wide, traversing the Whangarau Block (No. 3500); commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 13000 links or thereabouts from its south-eastern angle, being the southern side of the road above referred to; and thence continuing westerly generally for a distance of 5268 links or thereabouts to the western boundary of the aforesaid block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4537, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 35 acres 1 rood 7 perches, 1 acre 2 roods 10 perches, 14 acres 2 roods 29 perches, and 1 acre 2 roods 4 perches respectively, more or less, situate in the Uawa Survey District, and being road-lines, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Paremata Block (No. 1117):—

Road containing 35 acres 1 rood 7 perches: Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the Tokomaru No. 2 Block (No. 4322B) at a distance of 320 links or thereabouts from the sea, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing northerly and north-westerly generally for a total distance of 35290 links or thereabouts to its junction with another road at the south-eastern
