Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and fourth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:

And whereas the Land Board of Auckland has passed a resolution recommending that the land described in the Schedule hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on deferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid recommendation, and to set apart the said land accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on deferred payments; and that Wednesday, the fourteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, shall be the day on which the said land shall be open for application, in allotments as surveyed and marked on the selection map in the principal land office of the district.

And, in pursuance of the one hundred and tenth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I do hereby fix the price at which the land so described shall be sold to be the price stated in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Proclamation of the seventh day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, so far as it relates to the section enumerated in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby revoked; and do proclaim and declare that the said section is hereby withdrawn from the village homestead special-settlement system, in order that it may be classified as rural land and sold for cash.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the block of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for the Tuakau Special Settlement, upon the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council issued on the fifth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, and made under the one hundred and sixty-third section of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2,380 acres, more or less, and situate in the Parish of Onewhero, Onewhero Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded towards the North by lines, 5437, 5113, and 9500 links; towards the South-west by a road, 5500 links; towards the West by lines, 1550 and 9978 links; towards the South by the Opuatia Block, 6837, 1570, 1888, 1438, 1330, 1242, 2003, 2646, and 2138 links; and towards the North-east by Section No.13, 16424 links, to the commencing-point: save and excepting one surrounded space of an area of 220 acres 3 roods 34 perches, more or less, and being Section No. 57 of the aforesaid parish; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
