All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 14 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2738 (in red), situate in the Spaxton Survey District. Bounded towards the North by Reserve No. 2737 (in red), 230 links; towards the East by said reserve 372 links, also by a road-line 641 links; towards the North-west by a road-line, 1539 links; towards the South-west by a water-race reserve, 25 links wide, 1107 links; and towards the South-east by a line bearing 62° 43', 1017 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For a recreation-ground.
OTAGO.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, situate in the Gimmerburn District, and being Section No. 39 of Block IV. of said district. Bounded towards the North by Section No. 38 of same block, 746·3 links; towards the East by said Section No. 38, 243·7 links; towards the South-east by a road-line, 380·7 and 362·7 links; towards the South by said Section No. 38, 335 links; and towards the West by same section, 858 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a site for a cemetery.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the Governor by “The Public Health Act, 1876,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination district known as the Auckland District; and do declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said district is hereby divided anew into two vaccination districts, the names whereof shall be the Auckland and Onehunga Registration Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the registration districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1875.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and “The Animals Protection Act Amendment Act, 1881,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the date hereof, hares shall cease to be within the operation of the said Act within that portion of the North Canterbury District which lies between the River Ashley and the River Waiau-ua.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be the Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.
