Arrangements for First Elections, New County of Whangaroa.

to be the person to make up electors’ rolls for the Ridings of Kaeo, Totara, and Whangaroa, in the new County of Whangaroa, as constituted under “The Counties Act, 1886;” and also to appoint the said
JOHN BEGG
to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first elections of three members of the County Council of the County of Whangaroa for the Kaeo Riding; also to appoint
WILLIAM BROMLEY
to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first elections of two members of the said County Council for the Totara Riding; also to appoint
DANIEL GILBERT LANE
to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first elections of two members of the said County Council for the Whangaroa Riding; also to appoint Monday, the 21st day of February, 1887, to be the day upon which the said first elections shall be held; and also to appoint Monday, the 28th day of February, 1887, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, to be the time, and the Good Templars’ Hall, Whangaroa, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the Whangaroa County Council shall be held.
