GREYMOUTH.

This district is bounded towards the North-east generally by the Inangahua Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to a right line drawn between the Hurunui Saddle and the outflow of the Arnold River from Lake Brunner; towards the South-west generally by that line to the said Arnold River; thence by Lake Brunner to Te Kinga No. 3 Trig. Station; thence by the summit of the eastern watershed of New River and of German Gully and the western watershed of Maori Gully to Mount Fox; thence by the summit of the watershed over Mount Riley to Rata-tree Peak; thence by a line due south to Card's Creek; thence by Card's Creek and New River to Road and Railway Reserve No. 6; thence by the said road and railway reserve to the Teremakau River, and by the said Teremakau River to the ocean; and towards the North-west by the ocean.

KUMARA.

This district is bounded towards the North-east generally by the Greymouth Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the South-east by the summit of the Southern Alps to Whitcombe's Pass; thence towards the South-west generally by the Pass River and the Hokitika River to the confluence of the Kanieri River; thence by a line running in the direction of the southern end of the Kanieri Lake Water-race Tunnel until intersected by the southern boundary-line of Reserve No. 65 produced through the Big Paddock; again towards the South-west by the last-mentioned line and its production to the ocean; and towards the North-west by the ocean.

HOKITIKA.

This district is bounded towards the North-east by the Kumara Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the South-east by the summit of the Southern Alps to Mount Aspiring; towards the South-west by a right line thence to the mouth of the Awarua River; and towards the North-west by the ocean.

CHEVIOT.

This district is bounded towards the North-east and North-west generally by the Wairau Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the South-east by the ocean to the Ashley River; towards the South-west generally by that river to its confluence with the Makerikeri River, and by the latter river and Rural Sections Nos. 34532, 33439, 34719, and a road to Rural Section No. 23770; thence by that section and a right line to Mount Grey, and by the summit of the watershed over Mount Karetu, the Okuku Range, Gola Peak, Ashley Head, Seaward Head, Esk Head, and the High Snowy Range to the Southern Alps; and again towards the North-west by the Kumara and Inangahua Electoral Districts, hereinbefore described.

ASHLEY.

This district is bounded towards the North-east generally by the Cheviot Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Main Trunk Railway-line, by the said railway-line to the Borough of Rangiora, by the said Borough of Rangiora, and again by the said main trunk railway-line to and across the north branch of the Waimakariri River to Kaiapoi Island; towards the South-east by the said Kaiapoi Island to the Waimakariri River; towards the South and South-west by the said Waimakariri River to a line formerly known as the northern boundary of Run No. 270; and towards the North-west generally by the last-mentioned line and by the summit of the Puketeraki Range and the summit of the range leading to Ashley Head.

KAIAPOI.

This district is bounded towards the North-west by the Cheviot Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the East by the ocean; towards the South-east by the south branch of the Waimakariri River (Stewart's Gully); and towards the West by the Ashley Electoral District, hereinbefore described.

AVON.

This district is bounded towards the North-west by the Kaiapoi Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the East by the ocean; towards the South-west by the Avon Estuary and the River Avon to the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section No. 1068; thence by that road along the northern shore of Horseshoe Lake and the northern boundary of Rural Sections Nos. 1327, 2550, 1140, and 1135 to Hill's Road; thence again towards the East by the said Hill's Road to the road forming the northern boundary of Rural Section No. 1119; towards the South by that road continued to Rural Section No. 313; towards the South-east by Rural Section No. 1048 and the road which forms the southern boundary of Rural Sections Nos. 308, 304, 151, and 1101; thence by the Wairarapa Road to Rural Section No. 436; thence by the road forming the western boundary of Sections Nos. 2201, 568, and 115; again towards the East by the road forming the western boundary of Rural Sections Nos. 12, 85, and 180 to the Main Trunk Railway; towards the North by the said railway to the Borough of Sydenham; again towards the East by the said Borough of Sydenham and Colombo Road to the River Heathcote; again towards the South by the said River Heathcote and the Canal Reserve to Rural Section No. 393; towards the West by the Halswell Junction Road to the Southbridge Railway; and again towards the West by that railway and the Prebbleton and Kaiapoi Junction Road to the left bank of the Waimakariri River.

LINWOOD.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Avon Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the East by the River Avon and the road forming the south-western boundary of Rural Section No. 326; towards the South-east by the road forming the western boundary of Rural Sections Nos. 347 and 84; towards the South-west by Ferry Road; towards the West by the City of Christchurch and the East Town Belt Road; again towards the North by the North Avon Road; and again towards the West by Hill's Road to the north-western corner of Rural Section No. 1135.

HEATHCOTE.

This district is bounded towards the North and North-east by the Avon Electoral District, hereinbefore described, and the Heathcote Estuary; towards the South by the said Heathcote River and Tennyson Street to the Borough of Sydenham; towards the West by Colombo Road; again towards the North by Brougham Street; again towards the West by Waltham Road; again towards the North by the South Town Belt of the City of Christchurch; again towards the West by the East Town Belt of the said city; and towards the South-west and West by the Electoral District of Linwood, hereinbefore described.

ST. ALBANS.

This district is bounded toward the West and North by the Avon Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the East by the Linwood Electoral District; towards the South by the North Town Belt of the City of Christchurch; again towards the East by the River Avon and Lincoln Road; and towards the South by the Main Trunk Railway.

CHRISTCHURCH NORTH.

This district is bounded towards the North by the North Town Belt; towards the East by the East Town Belt; towards the South by a line along the Middle of Worcester Street produced through Latimer Square and Cathedral Square; again towards the East by the middle of Antigua Street; and again towards the South and towards the West by the River Avon to the North Town Belt.

CHRISTCHURCH SOUTH.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Christchurch North Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the East by the East Town Belt; towards the South by the South Town Belt; and towards the North-west by Lincoln Road and Antigua Street to the River Avon.

SYDENHAM.

This district is bounded towards the North by the City of Christchurch; towards the East by Waltham Road; towards the South by Brougham Street; again towards the East by Colombo Road; towards the South-west by Strickland Street, Jackson's Creek, Douglas Jerrold Street, and Bright's Road; and towards the North-west by Lincoln Road.

LYTTELTON.

This district is bounded towards the North generally by the Heathcote Electoral District, hereinbefore described, and the Ocean to Big Bay; towards the South-east by a road passing through Rural Sections Nos. 27872, 33229, 24754, 24758, and 24762 to the southern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section; thence by Rural Sections Nos. 24930, 33464, and 33233 to Rural Section 28291; thence by the northern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to a road intersecting it; thence by that road and its continuation to the Purau and Akaroa Road; towards the South-west generally by that road and the Mount Herbert Peak Road to the production of a line drawn between Mount Herbert and Herbert Peak; thence by a right line over Herbert Peak to Mount Herbert, by a right line thence through Trig Station L1 to the summit of the Port Hills; towards the West by the summit of the Port Hills to Dyer's Pass Road, by that road to the Heathcote River, and by the Colombo Road to Tennyson Street, in the Borough of Sydenham.

AKAROA.

This district is bounded towards the North generally by the Electoral Districts of Avon and Lyttelton, hereinbefore described; towards the North-east, East, and South by the
