I hereby certify that the special order making the special district for a water-supply for a portion of the Mount Eden Road District, and defining the boundaries, was duly passed at a meeting of the Board, on the 13th February, 1887; that the provisions of section 120 and other sections of the Road Boards Act were duly complied with; and that the boundaries as defined are true and correct.

- THAT a special rate of three-eighths of a penny in the pound on the annual rateable value of the property in the special district as defined in the special order passed on the 13th February, 1887—the said rate to be an annual-recurring rate for twenty-six years, from the 1st April, 1887, to be levied annually, and payable in one sum on the 1st September in each year, at the office of the Board, or to such persons as shall be lawfully appointed to receive the same, until the whole loan is paid off—be now struck.
I hereby certify that the special order striking the special annual-recurring rate for a water-supply for a special portion of the Mount Eden Road District was duly passed; and that all the requirements of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” were duly complied with in the making of the said special order.

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Alfredton Road Board, at a Meeting held on Tuesday, the 24th May, 1887.
THAT the after-mentioned special rates be made for repayment of moneys borrowed under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” and “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” payable in twenty-six yearly instalments, on the 1st day of June in each year, the first instalment being payable on the 1st June, 1888:—

A special rate of one farthing in the pound on the rateable value of the property of William McDonald Kebbell, as appearing on the valuation-roll for the Alfredton Road District, for the repayment of the sum of £100.

A special rate of one farthing in the pound on the rateable value of the properties of William Brannigan, Reginald Marsh, Stephen J. P. Alpass, William McDonald Kebbell, and Thomas Ruben Freer, as appearing on the valuation-roll for the Alfredton Road District; also Sections Nos. 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, and 85, Block XII., Mangaone, in the name of William Cross; Sections Nos. 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 46, 47, 50, and 51, Block IX., Puketoi, in the name of Patrick Brannigan; Sections Nos. 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 62, 63, 64, 65, 68, and 72, Block IX., Puketoi, in the name of Charles Goode Good; Section No. 1, Block XII., Mangaone; Section No. 17, Block IX., Puketoi; Section No. 181, Block XIII., Puketoi, and 1,200 acres, being a portion of Section No. 151, Block XIV., Puketoi, in the name of the School Commissioners for the Provincial District of Wellington: all as appearing on the valuation-roll for the Alfredton Road District: for the repayment of the sum of £240.
The above special order was duly made by the Alfredton Road Board, at a meeting held on the 24th day of May, 1887.

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Alfredton Road Board, at a Meeting held on Tuesday, the 24th May, 1887.
THAT the road district be subdivided into four, and that the subdivisions be known as the Tiraumea, Te Hoe, Ihuraua, and Tawataia; that the Tiraumea and Te Hoe be represented by two members each, and the Ihuraua and Tawataia by one member each; and that the boundaries be as follows:—
Ihuraua Subdivision.—The boundary begins at the south-west corner of Section No. 27, Block XI., Mangaone Survey District, and proceeds easterly along the southern boundary of said Section No. 27 and of Sections Nos. 28, 29, and 30, same block and survey district, to Peep o’Day Trig. Station; thence south-easterly in a straight line to the north-west corner of Section No. 112, Block XII., same survey district; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-western boundary of Sections Nos. 111, 110, 107, 106, 103, 102, and 101; thence southerly along the north-eastern boundary of said Section No. 101 to the Ihuraua Stream; thence along the said stream to the northern boundary of Section No. 116; thence along the northern and eastern boundary-lines of said Section No. 116 and the eastern and southern boundary-lines of Section No. 121; thence along the eastern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 123 and 126; thence along the northern and eastern boundary-lines of Section No. 128 and the eastern boundary-line of Section No. 133, all in Block XII., same survey district; thence along the northern, eastern, and southern boundary-lines of Section No. 79 and the eastern boundary-line of Section No. 196; thence along the northern and eastern boundary-lines of Section No. 82 and eastern boundary-line of Section No. 85, all in Block XVI., same survey district; thence along the north-eastern boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 13, 14, 25, and 26, Block I., Mangapakeha Survey District; thence southerly and westerly by the northern boundary of the Upper Taucru and Mauriceville Road Districts to the south-eastern corner of the Eketahuna Road District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Eketahuna Road District to the starting-point.
Tawataia Subdivision.—Commencing at the eastern corner of Section No. 31A, Block IV., Mangaone Survey District, the boundary proceeds in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of the Pahiatua Road District to a point intersected by a line produced due north from the north-west corner of Section No. 175, Block VIII., same survey district; from thence the boundary proceeds due south along said line produced until it meets the Ihuraua River, in Block XII., same survey district; thence in a south-westerly direction along said river to the north-western boundary of the Ihuraua Subdivision; thence westerly along said boundary to the south-west corner of Section No. 27, Block XI., Mangaone Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundary of the Eketahuna Road District to the starting-point.
Tiraumea Subdivision.—Commencing at a point on the north-western boundary-line of the Alfredton Road District, at its intersection by the Tiraumea River, the boundary follows said line to the north-east corner of same district; it proceeds thence in a southerly direction along western boundary of Subdivision No. 4, Castlepoint Road District, to the south-east corner of Section No. 137, Block X., Puketoi Survey District; thence by the southern and western boundaries of said Section No. 137 to the Tiraumea River; thence in a westerly direction along said river to the north-west corner of Section No. 136; thence along the eastern boundary of Sections Nos. 152 and 155; thence along the southern and western boundary of said Section No. 155; thence along the northern boundary of Section No. 188, Block X., same district, the eastern and southern boundary of Section No. 158, and the eastern boundary of Section No. 179; thence along the southern boundary of said Section No. 179 and of Sections Nos. 178, 177, and 176; thence generally in a northerly direction along the western boundary of said Section No. 176, the southern boundary of Section No. 195, Block VIII., Mangaone Survey District; thence by the western boundary of said Section No. 195, the western and northern boundary of Section No. 173, and the eastern boundary of Section No. 172 to the Tiraumea River; thence along the said river to the starting-point.
Te Hoe Subdivision.—The boundary begins at the north-east corner of the Tawataia Subdivision; it proceeds thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of the Pahiatua Road District to its intersection by the Tiraumea River; thence it proceeds in a southerly and easterly direction along the western and southern boundary of the Tiraumea Subdivision to the north-east corner of Section No. 131, Block X., Puketoi Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of Subdivisions Nos. 4 and 2, Castlepoint Road District, to the north-west corner of Section No. 157, Block II., Mangapakeha Survey District; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the Upper Taucru Road District to the south-eastern corner of the Ihuraua Subdivision; thence north-westerly and northerly along the north-eastern and northern boundary of said subdivision and the eastern boundary of the Tawataia Subdivision to the starting-point.
The above special order was duly made by the Alfredton Road Board, at a meeting held on the 24th day of May, 1887.
