Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The licenses of the above runs will be sold subject to the general provisions as to runs in “The Land Act, 1885.” On Runs Nos. 219A, 245, 245A, and 247A—possession of which will not be given till the 1st March, 1888—the first year’s rent, with the license fee (£1 1s.), to be paid on fall of the hammer. On Runs Nos. 338A, 338B, 430A, and Sections 8 and 9, Block IV., Tiger Hill District—possession of which will be given on day of sale—the rent from day of sale to the 1st September, 1888, with license fee (£1 1s.).
Payments must be made either by marked cheque or in cash.
Valuations for improvements (if any) payable one month before getting possession.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of “The Land Act, 1885,” Part VII., that the leases of the runs enumerated hereunder will be open for application, at this office, on and after Thursday, the 12th May, 1887, at the upset rentals per acre stated opposite each run.

IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned Crown lands are open for lease, for a term of thirty years, with the right of renewal for further terms of twenty-one years, and that applications will be received on Saturday, the 30th April, for the said lease, at the Land Office, Christchurch; and also by Mr. March, at the Railway Station, Hinds, on the 28th April; and at the Courthouse, Ashburton, on the 29th April. The applications received by Mr. March will bear the same date as those received at the Land Office, Christchurch:—

Crown Lands on Perpetual Lease as Village Homestead Special Settlements, under Section 163 of “The Land Act, 1885,” and the Regulations issued by the Governor under the Authority of the said Section, and published in “Gazette” No. 45, of the 2nd September, 1886.—Land District of Canterbury.

IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned sections are open for lease for a term of thirty years, with the right of renewal for further terms of twenty-one years, and that applications will be received on Friday, the 22nd April, for the said leases, at the Land Offices, Christchurch and Timaru, and also by Mr. March, on Wednesday, the 20th April, at the Railway-station, Glenavy. The applications received by Mr. March will bear the same date as those received at the Land Offices, Christchurch and Timaru.
