PATENT for an Invention for a Newspaper-file, to be called “The Jubilee File.”
JOHN HARDCASTLE, of Napier, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, Journalist, has deposited at this office a specification of the said invention; and I have appointed Tuesday, the 28th day of June next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said application and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 13th day of June next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that JOHN O’NEILL, of Ngapara, in the Provincial District of Otago, has applied, under section 117 of “The Land Act, 1885,” to transfer his interest in Deferred-payment Section 7, Block VIII., Kurow District, occupied by him, to JOHN DODD, of Kurow, Settler; and that the said application will be considered by the Land Board, at a meeting to be held on Wednesday, the 4th May, 1887.

THE following land is open for application at the Crown Lands Office, Dunedin, or at any Land Office in the Otago Land District, on Wednesday, the 13th April, 1887:— Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block IV.; 174, 190, and 187 acres respectively. Upset price, £1 5s. per acre.
NOTE.—Good agricultural land situated about four miles from Athol Railway Station. Sections 4, 5, and 6, same block, set apart for perpetual leasing at 1s. per acre, will be opened for tender on Wednesday, the 4th May next.
