IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned sections
are opened for lease for a term of thirty years, with
the right of renewal for further terms of twenty-one years,
and that applications will be received on Wednesday, the
30th March, for the said leases, at the Land Offices, Christ-
church and Timaru, and also by Mr. March, on Tuesday, the
29th March, at the Courthouse, Temuka. The applications
received by Mr. March will bear the same date as those
received at the Land Office, Christchurch:—

The only charge for the leases will be a fee of 10s. No
selector shall take up more than one allotment. Plans may

Land open for Application on Deferred Payments, Provincial

tions, to be sold on deferred payments, and situate in
the Arowhenua Village Settlement, will be open for applica-
tion on Monday, the 21st March, 1887, at the Land Offices,
Christchurch and Timaru:—

and 830, containing an area of 1 rood each.

Sale of Land in the Opaku Survey District.

THE following allotments of rural bush land will be open
for selection, on terms of deferred payment, on Wed-
nesday, the 16th March next.

The block is situated four and a half miles from the Ball
Road Railway-station, between Manutahi and Patea. It
abuts on the settled districts, and is, in consequence, acces-
sible by the district roads. The roads inside the block are
now being cleared.

Applications may be lodged at this office, or at the District
Land Offices, Patea and Hawera.

Land taken for Roads.

THE following resolutions, passed by the Marlborough
Land Board on the 7th March, 1887, taking roads
through the pastoral leasehold lands held by Alexander
Wighton Ingles and Henry Anthony Ingles, is published for
general information:—

Resolved, That, in pursuance of section 87 of "The Marl-
borough Waste Lands Act, 1867," and of every other power
enabling the Marlborough Land Board in that behalf, the
said Land Board doth hereby take the following mentioned
lands, being portions of the Kincaid Run, held under pastoral
lease by Alexander Wighton Ingles and Henry Anthony
Ingles, for public roads, viz.:—

All that strip of land, 100 links in width, in the Survey
District of Mount Fyffe, Provincial District of Marlborough,
containing by admeasurement 8 acres and 21 perches, more
or less, being part of the Kincaid Run; commencing at the
south-eastern corner of Section 63, in the said district, and
bounded Westerly by that section, 3611·5 links; thence by
lines, 3279·2, 271·7, and 977·7 links respectively, to the
Hapuka River; thence Northerly by that river; thence
