All that parcel of land known as Native Reserve No. 193,
situate at Port William, Stewart Island, containing by ad-
measurement 80 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the
North by a road-line; towards the East, 2927 links, by Crown
land; towards the South, 2690 links, by Crown land;
towards the West partly by Crown land 1700 links, and
partly by a road-line.

All that parcel of land known as Native Reserve No. 194,
situate at Ruggedy River, Stewart Island, containing by
admeasurement 50 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the
North-east, 4631 links, by Crown land; towards the South-
east, 1373 links, by Crown land; towards the South-west,
5247 links, partly by Crown land and partly by a road; and
towards the North-west by a road-line.

All that parcel of land known as a Native reserve, situate
adjacent to Stewart Island, being an island off the south
head of Mason's Bay, beyond the boat-passage.

All that parcel of land situate near to Port Easy, Stewart
Island, at a place called Toparetutai, containing 5 acres.

NATIVE RESERVE, KAIAPOI.

All those pieces or parcels of land situate in the Rangiora
Survey District, in the Provincial Land District of Canter-
bury, forming a portion of the Kaiapoi Native reserve
known as Korunga-te-Iwi, comprising Sections Nos. 1 to 20,
and containing 75 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the
North partly by Section No. 120 and partly by a road;
towards the East partly by Sections Nos. 1289, 1295, and
120; towards the South by Section No. 1289; and towards
the West by the River Cam.

All those pieces or parcels of land situate in the Rangiora
Survey District, in the Provincial Land District of Canter-
bury, forming a portion of the Kaiapoi Native reserve known
as Te Wheki, comprising Sections Nos. 140, 141, 142, 143,
144, 145, and 146, containing in the aggregate 76 acres 2
roods 36 perches. Bounded on the North and West by the
Boromaheka Stream; towards the East, 2355 links and
2184 links, by Sections Nos. 45 and 56, being other portions
of the Kaiapoi Reserve; and towards the South, 2061 links,
partly by land allotted to the Moeraki Natives, and 822 links
partly by a road.

All that parcel of land being a portion of the Kaiapoi
Native reserve known as Section No. 115, containing 4½
acres. Bounded on the North, East, and South by roads;
and on the West by the River Cam.

All that parcel of land being a portion of the Kaiapoi Native
reserve known as Section No. 101, containing 5 acres, more
or less. Bounded on the North and West by roads; and
towards the East and South by Section No. 88.

All that parcel of land being a portion of the Kaiapoi Native
reserve known as Te Waituere, containing approxi-
mately 6 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North-
west by a road; towards the South-east by the River Cam;
and towards the West by a road.

All that parcel of land known as Te Pakiaha, situate in
the Rangiora Survey District. Bounded on the North, East,
and West by the River Cam; and on the South by Section
No. 134.

All that parcel of land known as Te Wera, situate in the
Rangiora Survey District. Bounded on the North, South,
and West by Section No. 318; and on the East by the River
Cam.

All that parcel of land being a portion of the Kaiapoi Native
reserve known as Tawiti-o-te-Rangiwetea, containing by ad-
measurement 14 acres, more or less. Bounded on the North
by a road; on the East by the foot of the sandhills; and on
the West by the Main North Road.

All that parcel of land numbered 892 (in red), and known
as Puharakenui, containing by admeasurement 72 acres,
more or less. Bounded towards the North, 2881 links, by
Section No. 10184; towards the East by a road reserve;
towards the South by a road; and towards the West also
by a road.

Vesting a Reserve in Canterbury.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first
day of December, 1886.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
was reserved for public purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said land in the Board of Conservators of the South Waimakariri District:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, shall become vested in the Board of Conservators of the South Waimakariri District, in trust, for the improvement and protection of the banks of the Waimakariri River.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods, more or less, situate in the Christchurch Survey District, and bounded towards the North-west by the River Waimakariri; towards the East by a road-line west of Section No. 842; and towards the South-west by a road-line, 392 links: be the aforesaid linkage more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of December, 1886.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council issued on the twenty-second day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, under the provisions of “The Public Reserves Sale Act, 1878,” and by an Order in Council issued on the sixth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, under the authority of “The Public Reserves Sale Act, 1879,” it was ordered and directed that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto, together with the other lands enumerated in the Schedules to the Orders in Council aforesaid, should be submitted to public auction upon immediate and deferred payments, in sections, as shown on the official map in the Survey Office at Christchurch, at the upset price stated in the Schedules thereto:

And whereas it is expedient to revoke the Orders in Council aforesaid so far as they relate to the sections enumerated in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby revoke the Orders in Council aforesaid so far as they relate to the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto.
