All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 rood 34 perches and 1 acre 1 rood respectively, situate in the Whangara Survey District, and being portions of a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Pokotakino Block, No. 5254:—

Portion containing 4 acres 3 roods 34 perches: Commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Pokotakino No. 1 Block at a distance of 872 links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a distance of 4375 links or thereabouts to the southern termination of the road taken by the Cook County Council, and lying within the northern boundaries of the aforesaid Pokotakino Block.

Portion containing 1 acre 1 rood: Commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Pokotakino No. 1 Block at a distance of 325 links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly generally for a distance of 1250 links or thereabouts to a point on the northern boundary of the Pakarae No. 1 Block at a distance of 220 links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River aforesaid.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the said several parcels of land are delineated on Plan No. 4058, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 3rd November, 1885.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less, situate in the Whangara Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Pakarae No. 1 Block, No. 5255; commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 220 links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly and south-westerly for a distance of 9049 links or thereabouts to the southern boundary of the aforesaid block, and at a point on the same at a distance of 905·7 links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 4058, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 3rd November, 1885.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, situate in the Whangara Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Pakarae No. 2 Block, No. 5256; commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Pakarae No. 2 Block at a distance of 905·7 links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing southerly generally for a distance of 11425 links or thereabouts to another road traversing the southern portion of the aforesaid block, and at a point on the same at a distance of 52 links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 4057, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the one hundred and thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease, with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of “The Land Act, 1885.”
