Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Sche-
dule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood, more or
less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a
road-line, 100 links wide and varying in width, traversing the
Kaiti Block ; commencing at a point on the south-western
side of the Gisborne Road at a distance of 568 links or there-
abouts to the southward of its junction with the road lead-
ing to Tuamotu Island, being the middle of the road above
referred to ; and thence continuing north-westerly along the
south-western side of the coach-road to Gisborne aforesaid
for a distance of 10650 links or thereabouts, and westerly
generally for a farther distance of 5200 links or thereabouts
to the north-eastern termination of the proposed block-
yard : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less ; as the
same is delineated on Plan No. 4074B, deposited in the
Survey Office, at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 24th October, 1884.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 29 acres 3 roods 12
perches, more or less, situate in the Waimata Survey District,
and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing
the Ngakoroa No. 1 Block ; commencing at a point on the
northern boundary of the Ngakoroa No. 2 Block at a dis-
tance of 50 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle,
being the middle of the road above referred to ; and thence
continuing north-westerly generally for a distance of 221 chains
or thereabouts to its junction with another road : be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less ; as the same is delineated on
Plans Nos. 4071A and 4071B, deposited in the Survey Office,
at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 22nd March, 1881.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 10
perches, more or less, situate in the Waimata Survey Dis-
trict, and being a road-line, varying in width, traversing the
north-eastern portion of the Ngakoroa No. 2 Block ; com-
mencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Nga-
koroa No. 2 Block at a distance of 50 links or thereabouts
from its north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road
above referred to ; and thence continuing southerly generally
for a distance of 2050 links or thereabouts, and easterly
for a distance of 140 links or thereabouts to the eastern
boundary of the Ngakoroa No. 2 Block aforesaid : be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less ; as the same is delineated on
Plan No. 4071A, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 22nd March, 1881.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 16 perches, 1 rood 14
perches, and 7 acres 1 rood 15 perches, respectively, more or
less, situate in the Waimata Survey District, and being
portions of a road-line, of irregular width, traversing the Nga-
koroa Block :—

Portion containing 16 perches : Commencing at a point on
the eastern boundary of the Ngakoroa No. 1 Block at a
distance of 40 links or thereabouts from its south-eastern
angle, being the northern termination of the western
boundary of the road above referred to ; and thence con-
tinuing southerly for a distance of 4 chains or thereabouts
along the eastern boundaries of the Ngakoroa Nos. 1 and 2
Blocks.

Portion containing 1 rood 14 perches : Commencing at a
point on the eastern boundary of the Ngakoroa No. 2 Block
at a distance of 1135 links or thereabouts from its north-
eastern angle, being the northern termination of the western
boundary of the road above referred to ; and thence con-
tinuing southerly along the eastern boundary of that block
for a distance of 600 links or thereabouts.

Portion containing 7 acres 1 rood 15 perches : Commencing
at a point on the eastern boundary of the Ngakoroa No. 2
Block at a distance of 1810 links or thereabouts from its
north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above re-
ferred to ; and thence continuing easterly and southerly
for a total distance of 68 chains or thereabouts to its junction
with another road.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less ; as the said
several parcels of land are delineated on Plan No. 4071A,
deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 22nd March, 1881.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 25
perches, more or less, situate in the Whangara Survey Dis-
trict, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the
Pokotakino No. 1 Block ; commencing at a point on the
northern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 872
links or thereabouts from the Pakarae River, being the
middle of the road above referred to ; and thence continuing
southerly generally for a distance of 1015 links or there-
abouts to a point on the southern boundary of the Pokotakino
No. 1 Block aforesaid at a distance of 325 links or there-
abouts from the Pakarae River aforesaid : be all the afore-
said linkages more or less ; as the same is delineated on Plan
No. 4058, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.
