Native Land taken for Portion of Road, Takaka to Colling-wood.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of August, 1886.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the road from Takaka to Collingwood shall and may be constructed on or through land held or occupied by Native owners, and that the parcels of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto shall be taken for the said road.

SCHEDULE.

THE several parcels of land mentioned in list hereunder:—

All in the Provincial District of Nelson; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans deposited in the Survey Office, at Nelson, in the Provincial District of Nelson, and thereon coloured pink.

Native Land taken for Construction of Defence Works at Bastion Point, Provincial District of Auckland.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the construction of defence works at Bastion Point, Provincial District of Auckland, shall and may be constructed on or through the parcel of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the Wellington-Napier Railway shall and may be constructed on or through the parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the Governor by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination districts known as the Inglewood, Hawera, Waimate Plain, and Waitara Districts; and do declare that the territory here- tofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into five vaccination districts, the names whereof shall be the Inglewood, Stratford, Hawera, Waimate Plain, and Waitara Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of "The Marriage Act, 1880."

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, the eighteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

Vesting a Reserve in the Town of Grey Town (Otago).

WHEREAS by section seventeen of "The Land Act, 1885," it is provided that the reserves to be made for any borough or town district under such section shall be made only in cases where no such reserves for the purpose of sections three, five, and six of "The Plans of Towns Regulation Act, 1875," exist therein, or, if existing, do not equal or exceed the amount of reserves authorized to be made under such last-mentioned Act:

And whereas the existing reserves for the Town of Grey Town do not equal the amount of reserves authorized to be made under "The Plans of Towns Regulation Act, 1875," and it appears expedient to make the reserves herein- after mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the seventeenth section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby declare that the lands enumerated in the first column of the Sche
