All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 8 perches, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Matawhero No. 6 Block; commencing at a point on the northern side of the Ormond and Gisborne Road at a distance of 526 links to the eastward of Station-flag No. 2, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a distance of 2830 links or thereabouts to the Makaretu Stream at a point on the same 62 links or thereabouts distant from the north-western angle of the Huruhuruhutia Block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3274, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 12th June, 1879.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods 23 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Pakowhai No. 1 Block; commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Pakowhai No. 1 Block bearing 357° 19' 30", and at a distance of 121 links from road-peg A123, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing southerly and south-easterly for a distance of 10894 links or thereabouts to a point on the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 1699 links or thereabouts to the north-east of Station A121: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3989A, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 13 acres and 12 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road, 100 links wide, traversing Te Arai No. 2 Block; commencing at a point on the northern boundary of Te Arai No. 2 Block, bearing 337° 11', and at a distance of 49·4 links from road-peg B, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing southerly generally for a distance of 13697 links or thereabouts to the southern boundary of the aforesaid block at a point on the same bearing 357° 19' 30", and at a distance of 121 links or thereabouts from road-peg A123: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3989B, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 22nd March, 1881.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 38 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Taruheru Block; commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Taruheru Block at a distance of 850 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly generally for a distance of 5755 links or thereabouts to a point on the Taruheru River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3275, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eleventh day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Wellington Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road, 100 links wide, the centre of which commences at the point marked A on the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 9, Block III., Port Nicholson Survey District, and proceeds generally in a north-westerly direction through Section No. 128 to the point marked B on the said north-eastern boundary-line.

Also all that other road, 100 links wide, the centre of which commences at the point marked C on the north-western boundary of the said Section No. 9, and proceeds generally in a north-westerly direction through Section No. 128 to the point marked D in the last-mentioned section.

As the said roads are more particularly shown on the plan marked S.O. 1129/7, and deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Date of warrant, 22nd November, 1884.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the sections of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for application as a village homestead special settlement for perpetual leasing on Friday, the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, upon the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council issued on the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and made under the one hundred and sixty-third section of the said Act.
