THE following special order, made by the Council of the County of Clifton, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER.
I, the undersigned, Clerk of the Clifton County Council, hereby certify that the following resolution has been duly passed by the said Council, at their meeting held at Waitara, on Thursday, the 22nd July, 1886, and that the requirements of the Act have been duly complied with:—
That a special order be now made to dissolve the Waitara East Road Board, and constitute two new road districts.
That the first be named the Waihi Road District. The Board to consist of five members; and that George Bertrand, of Urenui, be Returning Officer; and that the election take place at the house of Mr. Dawson, Waitara, in the last week of August, 1886.
That the second be named the Tikorangi Road District. The Board to consist of five members; and that John Foreman, of Tikorangi, be Returning Officer; and that the election take place at the Tikorangi Hall, in the last week of August, 1886.
Boundaries of the Waihi Road District: Bounded towards the North by the sea-beach from the Waitara River to the Onairo Stream; thence in a southerly direction by the said Onairo Stream to the southern boundary of Section No. 57, Block VII., Waitara Survey District; thence by Section No. 99, the Ohanga Road, Section No. 110, and the eastern and northern boundary of Section No. 56 to the Waiau Road; thence by the Waiau Road to the southern boundary of Section No. 49, Block VI., Waitara Survey District; thence by Sections Nos. 51 and 50 to the Allen Road; thence by the Allen Road to the Tikorangi Road; thence by the Tikorangi Road to the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 38, Tikorangi District; thence by the boundary-lines between Sections Nos. 38 and 39 to the Waiau Stream; thence by the said stream to the boundary-line between Sections Nos. 26 and 37, Tikorangi District; thence by the said boundary-line to the Waihi Road; thence by the Waihi Road to the northern boundary-line of the Tikorangi District; thence by the said boundary-line to the Waitara River; and thence by the said river to the sea: exclusive of that portion of the Town District of Waitara comprised within the said boundaries.
Boundaries of the Tikorangi Road District: Bounded towards the North by the Waihi Road District, as hereinbefore described, from the Waitara River to the Onairo Stream; thence in a southerly direction by the late Clifton Road District to the Waitara River; and thence in a north-westerly direction by the Waitara River to the southern boundary of the Waihi Road District.
