SCHEDULE.

PART of the subdivision of Section No. 17, Block IX., Te
Aroha Survey District, as comprised in the following lots
and streets or roads of the said subdivision, namely: Lots
Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Block XXV.; Lots Nos. 1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, and portion of Lot No. 10,
of Block XX.; Lots Nos. 1, 12, 13, and 14 of Block XIX.;
Lots Nos. 5 and 6, and portions of Lots Nos. 3, 4, 7, and 8,
of Block LIV.; Lots Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10, and por-
tions of Lots Nos. 1, 11, and 12, of Block LVII.; Lots Nos.
13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 of Block LVIII.; Lots Nos. 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11, and portions of Lots Nos. 10, 12,
13, 14, 19, 20, and 21, of Lot No. 59, and portions of the
following streets, namely: Terminus Street, Honi Street,
Burgess Street, Lipsey Street, Rewi Street, Brick Street,
and road along the Waihou River; the said portions of lots
being defined on the western side of the said parcel of land
by a straight line bearing 194Β° 12' 30", commencing at the
south-east corner or angle of said Lot No. 2 of Block LIX.,
and ending at the north-west boundary-line of said Lot No.
1 of Block XX.

Turanganui Survey District, Gisborne, Provincial District
of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under "The Public Works
Act, 1882," for a certain work, to wit, the construction of
harbour works in the Turanganui Survey District, Gisborne:

And whereas the Gisborne Harbour Board has laid before
the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and
also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
section eleven of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purpose of constructing harbour works; and that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the land so mentioned shall
become absolutely vested in fee-simple in the Gisborne
Harbour Board, discharged from all mortgages, charges,
claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever.

at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
lington, this day of July, in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
six.

Extension of Time for Preparation of the Buller County
Rolls.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth
day of July, 1886.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it has been made to appear that, owing to
unavoidable circumstances, the preparation of the
county rolls of the County of Buller, and the taking of
certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be
made and taken within the times limited by "The Counties
Act, 1876;" and it is expedient to further extend the said
times respectively:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby order and declare that the several dates
mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto
shall be the respective dates for taking the several steps set
opposite such times in the first column of the said Schedule
respectively.

Exempting from Duty Salmon's Bonding Warehouse, Port
of Russell.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth
day of July, 1886.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section five of "The Customs Duties
Consolidation Act, 1882," it is enacted that the
occupier of any warehouse appointed for the free ware-
housing and securing goods therein liable to duty under the
Customs Acts shall pay an annual duty on such warehouse
as in the said enactment set forth; and also it is thereby
further enacted that the Governor in Council may, subject
to certain exceptions, exempt from the payment of such duty
the owner or occupier of any such warehouse:

And whereas application has been made for a license for a
warehouse situate on section number nine, lot number two,
Cass Street, in the Town of Russell, of which John Henry
Salmon is the owner or occupier, and it is expedient that the
owner or occupier of the said warehouse should be exempt
from payment of the annual duty aforesaid:

Now, therefore, in exercise and pursuance of the said
power and authority, and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of New Zealand, I, William Francis
Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the said colony, do hereby
