Extending Jurisdiction of the Resident Magistrate's Court, Waikato.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in
me vested in this behalf by "The Resident Magistrates
Act, 1867," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that, from and after the first day of July
next, the jurisdiction of the Resident Magistrate's Court for
the Waikato District, as the same is defined in a Proclama-
tion bearing date the thirty-first day of October, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-three, shall be extended to one
hundred pounds.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most
Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government
House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of
June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-six.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the sixth section of "The Land
Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare
that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Pro-
clamation of the fifteenth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-six, by His Excellency the Go-
vernor, setting apart sections of land for leasing as small
areas, with perpetual right of renewal, shall be and the
same is hereby revoked in so far as it relates to the sections
of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto.

Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Southland.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and fourth section of
"The Land Act, 1885," it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to
time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such
blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set
the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such
Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open
for application; and that he may also in like manner set
apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allot-
ments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and
may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such
Proclamation:
And whereas the Land Board of Southland has passed a
resolution recommending that the land described in the
Schedule hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on de-
ferred payments:
And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid
recommendation, and to set apart the said land accordingly:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the
above-named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale
on deferred payments; and that Wednesday, the twenty-
eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six,
shall be the day on which the said land shall be open for
application, in allotments as surveyed and marked on the
selection map in the principal land office of the district.
And, further, in pursuance of the one hundred and tenth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," I do hereby fix the price
at which the land so described shall be sold to be the price
stated in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-sixth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule
hereto for sale as a village settlement, upon such terms and
conditions as are to be set forth in an Order in Council to be
made under the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of the
said Act.
