- It is important to mention that, in the returns from which this table is made up, immigrants to the colony are all counted at the first port of arrival, and emigrants at the final port of departure.

Land Transfer Act Notices.
A PPLICATION having been made to register a transfer from SARAH GREER to WILLIAM FLETCHER KENNEDY of that part of Section 490, City of Nelson, comprised in certificate of title of CHARLES ANDREWS, Vol. i.c, folio 34, and also for the issue of a provisional certificate for said land, and evidence having been tendered that the said certificate of title is lost or mislaid, notice is hereby given that such transfer will be registered, the production of the said certificate of title dispensed with, and a provisional certificate as above issued, unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged on or before the 29th day of May instant.
