Okoheriki No. 2D, containing by admeasurement 4,766 acres,
more or less. Bounded towards the North generally by a
railway-line known as Okoheriki No. 2E Block; towards the
East by a road-line, 750 links; towards the South-east by
Okoheriki No. 1 Block, 53479 links; towards the West by
Okoheriki No. 2B Block, 13200 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.

Vesting Reserves in the Town of Ormondville.

WHEREAS by section seventeen of "The Land Act,
1885," it is provided that the reserves to be made
for any borough or town district under such section shall
be made only in cases where no such reserves for the pur-
pose of sections three, five, and six of "The Plans of Towns
Regulation Act, 1875," exist therein, or, if existing, do not
equal or exceed the amount of reserves authorized to be made
under such last-mentioned Act:

And whereas the existing reserves for the Town of Ormond-
ville do not equal the amount of reserves authorized to be
made under "The Plans of Towns Regulation Act, 1875," and it appears expedient to make the reserves hereinafter
mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the
seventeenth section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of all
other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby declare
that the lands enumerated in the first column of the Sche-
dule hereto shall be and the same are hereby reserved for
the purpose stated opposite to the descriptions of such land
in the second column hereto, for the benefit of the Town of
Ormondville, as constituted under the provisions of "The
Town Districts Act, 1881," on the sixteenth day of September,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me in that behalf by "The Licensing Act
Amendment Act, 1882," I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint Thomas Mackay, Esquire, Chairman of the
Castlepoint Licensing Committee, to exercise, in terms of
section fifteen of the said Act, a special authority in the
granting of publicans' licenses within the district the limits
of which are defined in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the County of Wairarapa East, bounded
towards the North-east by Sections Nos. 789, 812, 869, and
870, 'Mangapakeha Survey District; thence by a right line
from the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section
to a point on the Whakaporo Stream where the north-western
boundary-line of Section No. 744, Mangapakeha Survey Dis-
trict aforesaid, intersects it; thence by the Whakaporo Stream
aforesaid and the Mangapakeha Stream to the confluence of
the latter with the Whareama River; thence towards the
East by the Whareama River aforesaid and the Waihora
Stream to the westernmost corner of Section No. 679, Rewa
Survey District; thence towards the South-east and South-
west by a right line to the easternmost corner of Section No.
669, Rewa Survey District aforesaid; thence by that section
to the Kaumingi Stream, and by that stream to the Taueru
River; and thence towards the North-west by that river to
Section No. 789 aforesaid, the place of commencement.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twelfth day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-six.

vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries
Act, 1882," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
the several persons whose names are specified in the first
column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for
the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified
in the second column of the said Schedule.
