Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that Messrs. Buckley, Stafford, and Barton, of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, Solicitors, have applied, on behalf of James Charles Wilson Nicholson, of Sydney, in the Colony of New South Wales, and of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, Pianoforte Importers, trading under the style of "Nicholson and Company," to register, under "The Trade Marks Act, 1886," the trade mark of which the following is a description:—
Description of Trade Mark.
An oval brass plate two and one half inches long and one and three-quarters inch wide, having the words "Mignon" above the head, the word "Trade" at the right side of the feet and the word "Mark" at the left side of the feet of the figure of a girl stamped thereon.
Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade Mark shall apply.

NOTICE is hereby given that Edward Waters, Patent Agent, of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, has applied, on behalf of Messrs. Church and Co., of Duke Street, Northampton, England, Boot Manufacturers, to register, under "The Trade Marks Act, 1886," the trade mark of which the following is a description, viz.:—
Description of Trade Mark.
A representation of the soles of two human feet, on one of which is the word "broad," and on the other the word "narrow," while in between the two is the word "and." Along the top are the words "The adapted boot," and at the bottom is the word "fitted," the whole forming an oblong label with a single border-line.
