HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council bearing date the first day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, it was ordered that, from and after the third day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, burials within the cemeteries described in the Schedule hereto should be wholly discontinued: And whereas it appears expedient to postpone the time mentioned in such order for the discontinuance of burials in manner hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the time heretofore limited as aforesaid for the discontinuance of burials within the cemeteries described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby postponed until the fifteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, and the said recited Order in Council of the first day of September last is hereby varied accordingly.

ALL that parcel of land in the Suburbs of Auckland, bounded towards the North-east by St. Martin’s Lane, and Allotments Nos. 9 and 6, Suburban Section No. 15; towards the East by Allotments Nos. 13 and 12, a road-line, and Allotments Nos. 11 and 10; towards the South by Allotment No. 19; and towards the West by Symonds Street: as the same is delineated on the plan in the Survey Office, Auckland.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the tenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice and consent, by this present order, delegate, but only with respect to the pieces or parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Ormond Public Domain Board, namely,—

ALEXANDER MCKENZIE,
ABRAHAM SKILLICORN,
GEORGE BRUCE, and
CHARLES JOHN SHAW
(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the first Thursday in each month, at two o’clock p.m., at Ormond House, Ormond North, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Thursday, the twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
