no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting.

Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the second
Tuesday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 2 roods 26
perches, more or less, being Suburban Sections Nos. 11 and
12 of the Township of Ormond. Also all that parcel of
land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by
admeasurement 107 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less,
being section marked “Bush Reserve” in Block I., Waimate
Survey District.

WHEREAS a petition in terms of section thirty-eight of
1885,” has been presented to His Excellency the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand from the Committee of Man-
agement of the Greymouth Benevolent Society, praying that
the said society may be incorporated as a separate institu-
tion under the said Act :
And whereas the substance of the said petition was
gazetted on the fourth day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-six, and no counter-petition has been
received by the Colonial Secretary, or objection lodged with
him by the District Board, within one month from the date
of such publication :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise and
in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by
“The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885,” doth
hereby declare the contributors for the time being to the
said society to be a body politic and corporate, by the style
and title of “The Greymouth Benevolent Society Con-
tributors.”
