Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Auckland.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby change the purpose, from a quarry reserve to a recreation reserve, of all that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement two acres two roods thirty-six perches, more or less, and known as Allotment number one hundred and eighty (a) of Section number ten, Suburbs of Auckland, situate in Block one, Otahuhu Survey District. Bounded towards the North by Allotments numbers one hundred and eighty and sixty-nine (a), six hundred and eighty links; towards the East by a road, five hundred and thirty-four links; and towards the South-west and West by a road, one hundred and sixty-three links, two hundred and seventy-nine links, two hundred and seventeen links, ninety-six links, and two hundred and forty-eight links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby vest in the Public Trustee the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto, to hold as Trustee, upon trust, for the purpose of a school of agriculture.


SCHEDULE.

SECTION No. 32, Block III., Waimate, West Coast (North Island) District, containing 90 acres and 20 perches.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby change the purpose, from a cemetery reserve to a recreation-ground, of all that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement fifteen acres and thirty perches, more or less, situate in the Survey District of Otahuhu, Provincial District of Auckland, being Lot number fifty-four of Section number twelve of the Suburbs of Auckland, Waitemata Parish. Bounded towards the North-west by Lot number twelve of Section number twelve, Suburbs of Auckland, Parish of Waitemata, one thousand four hundred and fifty-five links; towards the North-east by Lot number fifty-five of section aforesaid, one thousand and fifty-five links; towards the South-east by a public road, one thousand four hundred and sixty-five links; and towards the South-west by a public road, one thousand one hundred and seventy-three links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

Confiscated Lands declared derelict.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare as derelict all allotments of confiscated lands within the respective Parishes of Hunua, Otau, Opaheke, Maungatawhiri, Tuakau North, Pukekoke, Puni, Waiuku, and Waipipi, all in the Provincial District of Auckland, which have been deserted for more than ten years by the persons to whom they were allotted under the terms of “The New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863,” and the Acts amending the same; and, if, within three months from the date hereof, neither the person to whom any such allotment was originally allotted nor his lawful representatives shall establish his claim thereto, I shall, at the expiration of such last-mentioned period of three months, resume possession thereof on behalf of Her Majesty, and dispose of the same as Crown lands.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Taranaki.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby change, from an endowment for primary education to a recreation-ground, all that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement sixty-six acres, more or less, being Section number seventy-one, Block seven, Waitara Survey District. Bounded towards the North, North-east, and East by the Onaero Stream; towards the South by Section number seventy, two thousand four hundred and ten and two-tenths links; towards the West by Sections numbers seventy-two and seventy-three and the North Road, four thousand six hundred and twenty-five and six-tenths links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby change the purpose, from General Government purposes to a recreation-ground, of all that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement twenty acres, more or less, being Subdivision number ten of Section number forty-five of the Patea District, Hawera Survey District. Bounded towards the North-east by Subdivision number eleven, one thousand three hundred and fourteen and four-tenths links; towards the South-east by the Ketemarae Road, one thousand four hundred and seventeen and four-tenths links; towards the South-west by a road, one thousand five hundred and forty-six links; towards the North-west by the Subdivision number nine, one thousand three hundred and ninety-eight and three-tenths links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.
