NOTICE is hereby given that MICHAEL HART, of Hereford Street, Christchurch, in the Colony of New Zealand, Law Agent, has applied, on behalf of Messrs. HALE, THORP, AND COMPANY, of Christchurch aforesaid, Rope and Twine Manufacturers, to register, under “The Trade Marks Act, 1866,” the trade mark of which the following is a description:—

Description of Trade Mark.

A double-line circular border or collar, within which is the device a knot of rope; within the knot and on the left is the letter “T,” on the right the contraction “&,” and below are the letters “Co”; above the device is the letter “H,” and above this, in the form of an arch, are the words “Trade Mark,” and below the device are the letters “Chch.”

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade Mark shall apply.

Manilla and flax rope, shop and binding twines, plough and lead lines.
