Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Naseby on or before the 8th day of June, 1885.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Naseby.

Native Land Court Notices.

Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883.

WHEREAS at a sitting of the Native Land Court, had for the investigation of title to land known as Manukatutahi ki Otautanga or Maungatautari, the Court made, under section 34 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1880,” its orders for several divisions of the said land, and caused to be placed separately on the register the names of the owners of
