each division, and ordered certificates of title to issue accordingly, and among such divisions there was one made in favour of the Ngatihaua Hapu, the names of the individual members of whom were placed separately on the register as owners of the land the subject of such division, and to whom certificates of title were ordered to issue: And whereas the time under which a rehearing may be applied for under the said Act in respect of the decision of the Court aforesaid had expired before the present month of May, but before such time expired applications for rehearing were made in respect of such decision: And whereas on the 7th day of May, 1885, when dealing with such applications, I ordered, as to such part of the case in which such decision was given as makes order in favour of Ngatihaua as aforesaid, that a rehearing to a limited extent should be had, and as to all others of the said applications I dismissed them: Now I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, do hereby, in compliance with the duty imposed on me by “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883,” give notice that, as to all the said lands known as Manukatutahi ki Otautanga or Maungatautari, except such part thereof as by the said decision was awarded to the Ngatihaua aforesaid, the title thereto became, within the meaning of such last-mentioned Act, ascertained on the 7th day of May instant; and, further, that dealings therewith will cease to be prohibited by the provisions of such last-mentioned Act on the 16th day of June, 1885.

Notice under “Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883.”

I, JOHN EDWIN MACDONALD, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, do hereby, in compliance with the duty imposed upon me by “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883,” give notice that on the 20th day of May, 1885, the title to the lands mentioned in the Schedule herein became, within the meaning of the said Act, ascertained; and, further, that dealings with the said lands will cease to be prohibited by the provisions of the said Act on the 29th day of June, 1885.

NAME by which land is known: Waipuna A. Native Land Court District wherein situate: Mangonui. Area: 32 acres 1 rood 3 perches.

Name by which land is known: Waipuna B. Native Land Court District wherein situate: Mangonui. Area: 3 acres 2 roods 33 perches.

Name by which land is known: Haumapu. Native Land Court District wherein situate: Mangonui. Area: 485 acres.

Name by which land is known: Te Korihi. Native Land Court District wherein situate: Mangonui. Area: 50 acres.

I, JOHN EDWIN MACDONALD, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, do hereby, in compliance with the duty imposed upon me by “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883,” give notice that on the 14th day of May, 1885, the title to the land mentioned in the Schedule herein became, within the meaning of the said Act, ascertained; and, further, that dealings with the said land will cease to be prohibited by the provisions of the said Act on the 23rd day of June, 1885.

NAME by which land is known: Honohere. Native Land Court District wherein situate: Bay of Islands. Area: 197 acres 1 rood 27 perches.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a sitting of this Court to be held at Auckland on the 9th day of June next, will be heard the application of the person whose name appears in the first column for the subdivision of the hereditaments comprised in the Crown grants of the piece of land the name of which appears in the second column, situate in the district named in the third column.

And, in pursuance of the provisions of section 7 of “The Native Land Division Act, 1882,” all persons having in their possession any original grant or other instrument of title relating to the land aforesaid are hereby ordered to produce the same at the said sitting of the Court.

IT is hereby notified that the unsold sections in the Town of Richardson, Wairoa Survey District, about eight miles from the Momahaki Railway Station, and subdivided into allotments as under, will be offered for lease by public auction, for a term of fourteen years, at the upset rental of 6s. an acre, at the Land Office, Patea, on Saturday, the 27th June next, at 10.30 a.m.

No compensation will be allowed for improvements at the end of the term.

IT is hereby notified that part of Section 45, Hawera Survey District, known as the “Waihi Reserve,” situate about three quarters of a mile from Normanby, and subdivided into allotments as under, will be offered for lease by public auction, for a term of fourteen years, at the upset rental of 10s. an acre, at the Land Office, Hawera, on Wednesday, the 24th June next, at 10.30 a.m.

No compensation will be allowed for improvements at the end of the term.
