Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those parcels of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 32 perches,
and 4 acres 1 rood 24 perches, respectively, more or less,
situated in the Purua Survey District, and being road-lines
each 100 links wide traversing portions of the Pahunuhunu
Block, No. 2300:—
Portion containing 2 roods 32 perches: Commencing at a
point on the southern side of the road lying along the northern
boundary of the Pahunuhunu Block aforesaid at a distance
of 2800 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle,
being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing southerly for a distance of 700 links or there-
abouts to its intersection by the southern boundary of the
aforesaid block, and at a distance of 3100 links or thereabouts
from its western angle.
Portion containing 4 acres 1 rood 24 perches: Commencing
at a point on the southern side of the road lying along the
northern boundary of the Pahunuhunu Block aforesaid at a
distance of 3450 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern
angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and
thence continuing southerly generally for a distance of 4400
links or thereabouts to its intersection by the southern
boundary of the aforesaid block, and at a distance of 1100
links or thereabouts from the north-eastern angle of the
Tai Koia Block, No. 797: be all the aforesaid linkags more
or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3422, deposited
in the Survey Office at Auckland.
Date of warrant, 19th June, 1883.
All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods
12 perches, 1 acre 1 rood, and 1 acre 3 roods 4 perches,
respectively, more or less, situated in the Purua Survey
District, and being road-lines 100 links wide and varying in
width traversing portions of the Tai-Koi Block, No. 797:—
Portion containing 3 acres 2 roods 12 perches, 100 links
wide, and varying in width: Commencing at a point on the
northern boundary of the Tai-Koi Block aforesaid at a dis-
tance of 2047 links or thereabouts from its western angle,
being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing easterly, south-easterly, and north-easterly for a
distance of 3422 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the
northern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of
5200 links or thereabouts from the western angle of the
Tai-Koia Block aforesaid.
Portion containing 1 acre 1 rood, 100 links wide: Commenc-
ing on the northern boundary of the Tai-Koi Block aforesaid
at a distance of 9200 links or thereabouts from its north-
eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to;
and thence continuing south-easterly for a distance of 1250
links or thereabouts to its intersection by the southern
boundary of the aforesaid block, and at a distance of 10700
links or thereabouts from the south-eastern angle.
Portion containing 1 acre 3 roods 4 perches, 100 links wide:
Commencing on the northern boundary of the Tai-Koia Block
aforesaid at a distance of 1100 links or thereabouts from its
north-eastern angle, being the middle of the aforesaid road;
and thence continuing southerly for a distance of 1775 links
or thereabouts to its intersection by the southern boundary
of the aforesaid block, and at a distance of 3075 links or
thereabouts from its south-eastern angle: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan
No. 3422, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Auckland,
this twentieth day of May, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

at a point on the road known as Paul’s Road, at a distance
of 2616 links or thereabouts, from the north-eastern corner of
the Muriwai Block aforesaid, being the middle of the road
above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly
generally for a distance of 17840 links or thereabouts to the
south-western boundary of the Muriwai Block aforesaid, and
at a distance on the same of 50 links or thereabouts from its
south-western angle: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3472, deposited
in the Survey Office at Auckland.

enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified in warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road 100 links wide, the centre of which commences
at a point marked C in Section No. 66, right bank of Wanga-
nui River, situate in Block XIII., Waipakura Survey District,
and thence proceeds generally in a westerly and north-westerly
direction through Sections Nos. 66, 67, 68, 69, 185, 182, and
192 to a point marked D in Section No. 192.
Also all that other road 100 links wide, the centre of which
commences at a point marked A on the eastern boundary of
Section No. 184, right bank of Wanganui River, situate in
Block XIII., Waipakura Survey District, and thence proceeds
generally in a north-westerly and south-westerly direction
through Sections Nos. 184 and 213 to a point marked B on
the north-western boundary of Section No. 213; as the same
are more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O.
325, No. 1, and deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor,
Wellington.
Date of warrant, 5th November, 1880.
All that road 100 links wide, the centre of which com-
mences at a point marked A in Section No. 192, situate in
Block XIII., Waipakura Survey District, and thence proceeds
generally in a north-westerly direction through Sections
Nos. 192 and 144 to a point marked B in Section No. 144; as
the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked
S.O. 325, No. 2, and deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of warrant, 5th November, 1880.
All that road 100 links wide, the centre of which com-
mences at a point marked A on the western boundary of the
Motuhou Reserve, situate in Block XVI., Nukumaru Survey
