to a point marked B on the eastern boundary of the Kai Iwi
Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked S.O. 495, and deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Date of warrant, 5th November, 1880.

All that road 100 links wide, the centre of which com-
mences at a point marked A, near the western boundary of
the Pakaraka No. 2 Block, situate in Blocks IX. and X.,
Nukumaru Survey District, and thence proceeds generally in
a north-easterly direction through the said Pakaraka No. 2
Block to a point marked B on the northern boundary of the
said block; as the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked S.O. 495, No. 2, and deposited in the office
of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Date of warrant, 22nd November, 1880.

All that road 100 links wide, the centre of which com-
mences at a point marked A on the eastern boundary of
Section No. 11, situate in Block V., Port Nicholson Survey
District, and thence proceeds generally in a northerly
and north-westerly direction through Section No. 11 to a
point marked B on the western boundary of said section.

Also all that other road 100 links wide, the centre of which
commences at a point marked C in Section No. 9, situate in
Block V., Port Nicholson Survey District, and thence proceeds
generally in a southerly and south-easterly direction to a
point marked D on the division-line between Sections Nos. 9
and 11; as the same are more particularly delineated on the
plan marked S.O. 249, and deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Date of warrant, 14th October, 1879.

in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is vested in certain aboriginal natives of New Zea-
land, subject to certain restrictions on the alienation of such
land, and application has been made for the removal of such
restrictions:

It is hereby notified that it is the intention of His Excel-
lency the Governor, immediately after the expiration of sixty
days from the publication of this notice in the Gazette and
in the Kahiti, to remove the said restrictions on the aliena-
tion of the said land.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honour-
able Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral

All that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing 5 acres and 3 roods, more or less,
situated in the Parish of Waiotahi, in the Whakatane Survey
District, being Allotment No. 285, and being the whole of
the land comprised in the Crown grant recorded in Volume
xviii., folio 195, of the Register-book at Auckland.
