Portion containing 3 roods 21 perches: Commencing at a point on the middle of the road hereinbefore (secondly) described at a distance of 155 chains or thereabouts from the Pakarae River, being the middle of the aforesaid road; and thence continuing southerly generally to the sea at the eastern side of the mouth of the Waiomoku River. Portion containing 3 roods: Commencing on the sea-coast at a point 97 chains or thereabouts to the north-east of the mouth of the Pouawa River; and thence continuing for a distance of 667 links or thereabouts across a headland to the sea-coast again: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3378, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 24 acres 1 rood 11 perches, 8 acres 2 roods 31 perches, and 8 acres 2 roods, respectively, more or less, situated in the Turanganui Survey District, and being road-line 100 links wide and varying in width traversing portion of the Kaiti Block. Portion containing 24 acres 1 rood 11 perches: Commencing on the eastern boundary of the Papawhariki Block at a distance of 812 links or thereabouts from its eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly, northerly, and north-westerly generally for a distance of 24323 links or thereabouts to the Turanganui River at a point opposite the Gladstone Road, in the Township of Gisborne. Portion containing 8 acres 2 roods 31 perches: Commencing at a point on the road-line above described at a distance of 8807 links from the eastern boundary of the Papawhariki Block; and thence continuing south-easterly and easterly generally for a distance of 8696 links or thereabouts to the sea at a distance of 25 chains or thereabouts from connecting point No. 2. Portion containing 8 acres 2 roods, and varying in width: Commencing on the previously-described road at a point on the same at a distance of 2227 links from connecting point No. 2 aforesaid; and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a distance of 7784 links or thereabouts to the Hamauatua Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3378, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 76 acres 1 rood 36 perches, more or less, situated in the Turanganui and Whangara Survey Districts, and being a road-line varying in width and traversing the south-eastern portion of the Pouawa Block; commencing at a point on the Hamauatua Stream at a distance of 15 chains or thereabouts from its mouth; and thence continuing easterly and north-easterly generally for a distance of 70205 links or thereabouts to the Pouawa River and at a distance of 950 links or thereabouts from the mouth of that river: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3378, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less, situated in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing a portion of the Papawhariki Block; commencing on the eastern boundary of the Papawhariki Block at a distance of 812 links or thereabouts from its eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing generally westerly and south-westerly for a distance of 3678 links or thereabouts to the head of the Spit opposite Tua Motu Island: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3378, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 13 acres and 10 perches, more or less, situated in the Cambridge Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the southern portion of the Hinuera No. 1 Block, No. 653; commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Hinuera No. 1 Block aforesaid 1000 links or thereabouts distant from the Waikato River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly and south-easterly generally for a distance of 13063 links or thereabouts to the south-eastern boundary of the Hinuera No. 1 Block aforesaid, and at a point on the same 6950 links or thereabouts distant from the north-eastern angle of the Waipa Block, No. 620: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3470, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, situated in the Cambridge, Te Papa, and Patetere North Survey Districts, and being a road-line 100 links wide and upwards traversing the north-eastern portion of the Waipa Block, No. 620; commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Waipa Block aforesaid 6950 links or thereabouts distant from its north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly for a distance of 21329 links or thereabouts to the eastern boundary of the Waipa Block, and at a distance of 2337 links or thereabouts to the south of its easternmost angle: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3470, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 35 perches, more or less, situated in the Cambridge Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the southern portion of the Hinuera No. 3 Block, No. 654; commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the Hinuera No. 3 Block aforesaid at a distance of 1000 links or thereabouts from its south-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing westerly generally for a distance of 1220 links or thereabouts to the south-western boundary of the aforesaid block, and at a point on the same 800 links or thereabouts distant from the Waikato River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3470, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 2 roods 3 perches, more or less, situated in the Patetere North Survey District, and being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the middle portion of the Okoroire Block No. 2, No. 621; commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the Waipa Block 2337 links or thereabouts distant to the southward of its easternmost angle; and thence continuing easterly generally for a distance of 20519 links or thereabouts to the road at the north-western angle of Section No. 40 of a subdivision of the Okoroire Block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3470, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.
