Be all the aforesaid linkages and areas either more or less, and the several parcels of land being situate in the Provincial District of Auckland, as the same are delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 11153, attached to the memorial above referred to, and deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in the Parish of Hikurangi, Provincial District of Auckland: And whereas the Minister for Public Works has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by section eleven of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the land so described shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in Her Majesty, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever, for use as a road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 14 perches, being a portion of a road-line varying in width and lying along the south-western boundary of the south-western portion of Section No. 40, commencing at a distance of 460 links from the northernmost angle of Section No. 41 on its north-eastern boundary. Bounded—Northerly by a line, 102 links; generally Easterly by lines, 89 and 174 links respectively; South-westerly by a line, 236 links, to the commencing point.
All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 2 perches, being a road-line 100 links wide traversing the north-western part of the north-eastern portion of Section No. 41, commencing at a distance of 427 links from the northernmost angle of Section No. 41 on its north-eastern boundary. Bounded—North-easterly by a line, 269 links; South-easterly by lines, 109, 95, 754, and 368 links respectively; South-westerly by a line, 118 links; North-westerly by lines, 317, 750, 46, 269, and 70 links respectively, to the commencing point.
