date hereof, the land so described shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in Her Majesty, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever, for use as a road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 3 roods, 1 acre 1 rood 3 perches, and 4 acres 1 rood, respectively, more or less, situate in the Tauranga County, and being road-lines 200 links wide and 100 links wide respectively; the former traversing part of the Motungarara Native Reserve, and the latter, parts of Sections Nos. 2 and 3, Block II., Maketu Survey District:—
Commencing to the northward of the Atuaroa River at a point on the southern side of the road which forms the eastern boundary of Section No. 1, Block II., Maketu Survey District, and at a distance of 3105 links or thereabouts from its intersection by the Atuaroa River aforesaid. Bounded generally Easterly by lines 864, 2222, 1844, 1070, and 123 links respectively, and by the Atuaroa River; Southerly by a line, 252 links; generally Westerly by lines, 1271, 1950, 2238, and 919 links respectively; North-easterly by lines, 67 and 168 links respectively, to the commencing point.
Also commencing at the south-western angle of Section No. 2. Bounded Westerly by the Atuaroa River; Northerly by lines, 1218 and 438 links respectively; Southerly by a line, 1651 links, to the commencing point.
Also commencing at the south-eastern angle of Section No. 2. Bounded Northerly by a line, 4269 links; Southerly by lines, 438 and 3879 links respectively; Easterly by a road-line, 103 links, to the commencing point.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 12543, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at Christchurch, this twelfth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of “The Land Act, 1877,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:
And whereas the land specified in the Schedule hereto was, with other lands, set apart for sale on deferred payments on the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four:
And whereas the Land Board of Wellington did, on the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, pass a resolution recommending that the said land should be withdrawn from the deferred-payment system:
And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do hereby revoke the Proclamation above referred to, so far as it relates to the sections therein mentioned and included in the Schedule hereto, and do proclaim and declare that the said sections are hereby withdrawn from the operation of the deferred-payment system.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 20 perches, and 1 acre 1 rood 23 perches, respectively, more or less, situate in the Ohinemuri Survey District, and being road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the north-eastern portion of the Raratu Block No. 2, No. 4276:—
Portion containing 1 acre 2 roods 20 perches: Commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Raratu No. 2 Block aforesaid at a distance of 420 links or thereabouts from the Ohinemuri River, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly for a distance of 1630 links or thereabouts to the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block, and at a point 1430 links or thereabouts distant from the Ohinemuri River aforesaid.
Portion containing 1 acre 1 rood 23 perches: Commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary-line of the Raratu No. 2 Block aforesaid at a distance of 870 links or thereabouts from the Ohinemuri River aforesaid, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing northerly generally for a distance of 1405 links or thereabouts to the Ohinemuri River aforesaid.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3379, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.
Date of Governor’s warrant, 25th July, 1883.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 16 perches, more or less, situate in the Ohinemuri Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Wairere Block, No. 3771; commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the Wairere Block aforesaid at a distance of 380 links or thereabouts from the Ohinemuri River, being the middle of the aforesaid road; and thence continuing westerly and northerly generally for a distance of 1345 links or thereabouts to the Ohinemuri River aforesaid, and at a point 1850 links or thereabouts distant from the north-eastern angle of the aforesaid block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3379, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.
Date of Governor’s warrant, 25th July, 1883.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 35 perches, more or less, situate in the Ohinemuri Survey District, and being a line of road varying in width, and lying within the north-eastern boundary of Te Tawaatakuao No. 2 Block, No. 3752A; commencing at the north-eastern corner of the aforesaid block, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
