Patterson, Parata Te Whanga, Pene Tahui, and Kereoma Penewhai Tokaanau, Kaikoura The boundary commences at the landing-place at Ohinerongomai at the ridge, which it follows to a road that goes to the other side, turns at that road to Te Marua, then it follows along the coast-line to the commencing-point.
6 Hone Paratene, Kerehona, Pene Tahui, and Parata Te Whango Tokaanau, Kaikoura The boundary commences at the landing-place at Ohinerongomai, follows along the western ridge and descends at Te Marua, thence by the sea-coast to Tokaanau, where the boundaries meet.
7 Hamuera Pehitaka, Neta Toea, and others Waikawa Commences at Te Karaka, thence along the range to Te Paoaoa, the sea is the boundary on one side.
8 Kereoma, Panewhai, Te Oti Tama, Herangi Ripeka, and Wahia Te Rotokatuku, Waipapa Te Ngarutarua is the boundary on the east as far as Tapuaenuku, till it reaches Waiau-toa, the southern boundary.
9 Wiremu Kerei, Paraire Ropata, and Hoani Tumaru. Amuri, Amuri Otautu, Omarahia, Te Kahiha, Torotororere, Te Karetu, Te Umukuri, Te Poho-o-te-Atua, Te Waipuna, Tauariki, Otumatua, Waiharakeke, Omihi, Te Paraawa, Te Awa-o-te-Poutete.
10 Wiremu Kerei Kepa, Watene Tumaru, Te Harawira, Te Otiwira Paraure, Hoani Tumaru, and all the tribe living at Kaikoura Amuri and Orao Commence at Otautu, whence the boundary goes inland along the Karahia Creek, thence on to Te Kahika, thence to Te Karetu, thence in an easterly direction to Tawariki, thence seaward to Otumatua, thence along the coast to Waiharakeke, Omihi, Te Para-awa, thence on to Te Poutete, striking the boundaries of the lands outside of the reserves—the land included in this is exclusive of the reserve at Mikonui—and to the Poutete River, and the other places at Matakiwa and Puketapu, right onward.
11 Raihania Tamaherangi, Reweti Te Hiakai, Kereoma Panewhai, Te One Pakihi, Ihau Te Whatakai, and others Matariki Hinekata is the boundary on the south, thence Takatupari, thence Tuwhakapau, which is the eastern boundary of that land.
12 Te Kepa Te Hina, Herere Tamati, Te Meihana, Te Kapotihi Paratene, Paioke, Ihaia Kaimako, Tipene Te One, and others Te Wharau Te Hinu is the southern boundary, and Wai-autoa is the eastern boundary.
13 Te Kepa Tarahe, Wiremu Kerei Kepa, Ihaia Te Awanui, Te Reweti Te Hiakai, Te Oti Wira, Tiemi Paratene, Renata Rawiri, Hoani Tumaru, Raihania Kaimano, and all the tribe living at Kaikoura Maruia, at Maruia The southern boundary is at Maruia, then it goes along the eastern side of Maruia and meet the other boundaries; that is all.
14 Wiremu Kerei Kepa, Te Harawira, Te Herewini, Watene Tumaru, and Te Oti Wira Oaro Native Reserve... The southern boundary is eight chains from the sea-coast, thence it goes inland on the south side thirteen chains, thence it turns to the eastward for a length of eight chains, and from thence to the sea-coast twelve chains, where the bonndaries meet.
15 Hoani Tumaru and Watene Tumaru Omihi Native Reserve at Amuri When the Court sits at Wairau the map of the gazetted piece will be exhibited at the Land Office, Blenheim.
16 Hoani Tumaru, Te Oti Wira, Paraire Ropata, and Watene Tumaru Amuri at Waiharakeke The boundaries will be known at the sitting of the Court, Wairau, and the map of the gazetted piece will be seen in the Land Office at Blenheim.
17 Hoani Tumaru, Watene Tumaru, and Te Oti Wira Oaro Native Reserve, at Kapuarangi The northern boundary is at the Oaro Creek, thence inland in an eastely direction. The area of that land is seventy-four (74) acres. It is a reserve at Kapuarangi, in the Amuri District.
