Notice of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons
whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the block of
land of which the name and locality is mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are
published in the third column will be investigated at Nelson, on the 15th day of November, 1883, and
following days.
The maps of such of these lands as has been surveyed, can be seen at the Office of the Chief
Surveyor, Nelson.

1 Eruera Paipa Anamahanga, Arapawa The boundaries will be known when the survey is completed.
2 Aperahama Te Aika Piripaua, Kaikoura Commence at Piripaua, thence it ascends on
the sidetowards the North-east to Koropiha-
o-Pukutia, from thence it descends to
Waihoroi-o-te-Apai, descends to Okeke,
where it terminates.
3 Kaikoura Whakatau, Te Omaruia, Kaikoura The boundary commences at Piweta on the
Teira Tutakina, Te Re- side towards Waiautoa, the northern boun-
weti, Renata, Honi Tu- dary and that seaward is at Kihirau, Hine-
maru, Te Ote Wira, Pa- kahua is the boundary towards the East,
raire, Ihaia, Wiremu the centre is Ohuri and Maruia, the centre
Kerei, Pita, Te Herewini, post on the side towards the South is at
Te One Auhani, Karipa, Maokatoki, and Ngakaroroa is beyond this
Tiemi Tumata, Henare to the seaward side of Hurunui; that is
Korako, Paratene, Ihaia all.

Paratene, Rawiri, Ihau,
and others
4 Te Kepa, Hariata Wakatau, Maruia Te Hurunui, Ngakoroa is the name of the boundary to the
and all the tribe Ngakoroa Hurunui River, thence it goes inland as
far as Maruia.
