All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canter-
bury, containing by admeasurement 214 acres and 16 perches,
more or less, being section numbered 2592 (in red), situate in
the Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Bounded towards the
North-east by section numbered 32453, 4175 links; towards
the South-east by a road-line, 10256 links; and towards the
North-west by a road-line, 11073 links; be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan
deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For a
plantation.

OTAGO.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods, more or
less, situate in the Town of Havelock, and being sections
numbered 6, 7, 8, 17, 18, and 19 of Block XX. of said town.
Bounded towards the North-west by Sunderland Street, 300
links; towards the North-east by sections numbered re-
spectively 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, of same block and town, 500
links; towards the South-east by Ashburn Street, 300 links;
and towards the South-west by sections numbered respec-
tively 9 and 16 of same block and town, 500 links: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. For a school site.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less,
situate in the Tuapeka East District, and being section
numbered 79 of Block IV. of said district. Bounded towards
the West and North-west by a road-line, 1799.5 links;
towards the East by sections numbered respectively 72 and
65 of same block, 972.7 links; and towards the South by
section numbered 71 of same block, 1284.4 links be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. For a school site.

Notification that Her Majesty has relinquished Negotiations
in respect of certain Native Lands in the North Island.

IN pursuance of the provisions of "The Government
Native Land Purchases Act, 1877," and "The Govern-
ment Native Land Purchases Act Amendment Act, 1878," it
is hereby notified that Her Majesty the Queen has relin-
quished negotiations in respect of the blocks of Native land
in the North Island which are more particularly described
and mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

TATUA WEST.

All that parcel of land in Ngongotaha and Tatua Districts,
in the Provincial District of Auckland, known by the name
of Tatua West, containing by estimation 35,000 acres or
thereabouts. Bounded towards the North by the Waikato
River; towards the North-east by the Hauai River; towards
the East and South by lines starting from the Hauai River,
passing through Tuahu, and thence to Kiwitahi, and from
thence to Waikotukutuku on the Waituhaua Stream; and
towards the West by the Waituhaua Stream aforesaid and
the Waipapa Stream to the Waikato River, the point of
commencement.

WAEWAETAPAHIA.

All that parcel of land in the District of Waiapu, in the
Provincial District of Auckland, known by the name of
Waewaetapahia, containing by estimation 3,000 acres or
thereabouts. Boundaries: Commencing at Puketoi; thence
to Whangairopa; thence to Te Riukokako; thence following
up the creek to the mouth of the Arikiruawai Stream;
thence following up the said stream; thence ascending the
hill Wawarua; thence in a straight line to the head of the
Mangatoetoe; thence ascending Mount Hikurangi; thence
to Te Maara a Kahukuraporo Tamahoka; thence following
along the survey lines of Te Ngaere, Aorangiwai, and Aorangi
Maunga Blocks to Puketoi, the point of commencement.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this third day of August, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-three,
