hereinbefore described; thence towards the East by Section
No. 52, Block VII., Mount Robinson Survey District; thence
by a right line to the nearest point of the main drain running
south through Section No. 555, Block VII. aforesaid; thence
by that drain to the Manawatu River at Karikari; thence
towards the South by a line along the middle of that river; and
thence towards the West by Subdivision No. 3, hereinbefore
described, to Subdivision No. 1 aforesaid, the place of com-
mencement.

Subdivision No. 5.
Bounded towards the North by Subdivision No. 2, herein-
before described; thence towards the North-east, South-east,
and South by a line along the middle of the Manawatu River;
aud thence towards the West by Subdivision No. 4, herein
before described, to Subdivision No. 2 aforesaid, the place of
commencement.

Otaki Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Wellington, bounded
towards the North-east and North-west by a line along the middle
of the Manawatu River, from the ocean to the Manawatu Road
District, hereinbefore described; thence again towards the North-
east by that road district to the summit of the Tararua Range;
thence towards the South-east by that summit to a point due
east from the source of the Waikanae River; thence towards
the South by a right line to that source, and by the Waikanae
River aforesaid to the ocean; and thence towards the North-
west by the ocean to the mouth of the Manawatu River afore-
said, the place of commencement.

Opiki Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North-west by a line along the middle
of the Manawatu River to the Manawatu Road District, herein
before described; thence towards the North-east by that road
district; thence towards the South-east by the summit of the
Tararua Range; and thence towards the South-west by the
Manawatu-Kukutauaki Block No. 2D to the Manawatu River
aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Horowhenua Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North-east by a line along the middle
of the Manawatu River, and by the Opihi Subdivision, herein
before described; thence towards the East by the summit of
the Tararua Range; thence towards the South by the southern
boundary-line of the Horowhenua Block; and thence towards
the West by the ocean to the mouth of the Manawatu River
aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Ohau Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North by the Horowhenua Subdivision,
hereinbefore described; thence towards the South-east by the
summit of the Tararua Range; thence towards the South by
the Waikawa River and the Manawatu-Kukutauaki Block
No. 4D; and thence towards the West by the ocean to the
Horowhenua Subdivision aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Waitohu Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North by the Ohau Subdivision, herein
before described; thence towards the East by the summit of
the Tararua Range; thence towards the South by the Waitohu
Stream and the Pukehou Block No. 5A; and thence towards
the West by the ocean to the Ohau Subdivision aforesaid, the
place of commencement.

Otaki Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North by the Waitohu Subdivision,
hereinbefore described; thence towards the South-east by the
summit of the Tararua Range; thence towards the South by
the Otaki River and the southern boundary-line of the Wai-
hoanga Block No. 4; and thence towards the West by the
ocean to the Waitohu Subdivision aforesaid, the place of com-
mencement.

Ngakaroro Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North by the Otaki Subdivision, herein
before described; thence towards the South-east by the summit
of the Tararua Range; thence towards the South by the
Ngakaroro Block Nos. 2F and 2E; and thence towards the
West by the ocean to the Otaki Subdivision aforesaid, the place
of commencement.

Waikanae Subdivision.
Bounded towards the North by the Ngakaroro Subdivision,
hereinbefore described; thence towards the East by the summit
of the Tararua Range; thence towards the South by a right
line due west to the source of the Waikanae River; thence by
that river to its mouth; and thence towards the West by the
ocean to the Ngakaroro Subdivision aforesaid, the place of com-
mencement.

WAIRARAPA EAST COUNTY.
Castlepoint Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Wellington,
bounded towards the North by Waipawa County, from the con-
fluence of the Manawatu and the Tiraumea Rivers to the mouth
of the Waimata Stream on the East Coast; thence towards the
South-east by the ocean to the mouth of the Whareama River;
thence towards the South-west by that river to its confluence
with the Waihora Stream; thence again towards the South-east
by that stream to the westernmost corner of Section No. 679,
Rewa Survey District; thence by a right line to the eastern-
most corner of Section No. 669, Rewa Survey District aforesaid;
thence again towards the South-west by that section to the Kau-
mingi Stream and by that stream to the Taueru River; thence
towards the North-west by that river to the north-western
corner of Section No. 157, Mangapakeha Survey District;
thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section
No. 128, Puketoi Survey District, and by that section and
Section No. 127, Puketoi Survey District aforesaid, to the
Waitawhiti Stream; thence again towards the South-west and
towards the West by that stream and the Tiraumea River
aforesaid to its confluence with the Manawatu River aforesaid,
the place of commencement.

Subdivision No. 1.
Bounded towards the North-east by Sections Nos. 789, 812,
869, and 870, Mangapakeha Survey District; thence by a right
line from the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section
to a point on the Whakaporo Stream where the north-western
boundary-line of Section No. 744, Mangapakeha Survey Dis-
trict aforesaid, intersects it; thence by the Whakaporo Stream
aforesaid and the Mangapakeha Stream to the confluence of
the latter with the Whareama River; thence towards the East
by the Whareama River aforesaid and the Waihora Stream
to the westernmost corner of Section No. 679, Rewa Survey
District; thence towards the South-east and South-west by a
right line to the easternmost corner of Section No. 669, Rewa
Survey District aforesaid; thence by that section to the Kau-
mingi Stream, and by that stream to the Taueru River;
and thence towards the North-west by that river to Section
No. 789 aforesaid, the place of commencement.

Subdivision No. 2.
Bounded towards the North-east and North-west by Sections
Nos. 175, 183, 170, and 160, Puketoi Survey District; thence
towards the North by a right line from the easternmost corner
of the last-mentioned section to the north-western corner of
Section No. 833, Mangapakeha Survey District; thence
towards the East and South by that section and Sections Nos.
829, 830, and 115, Mangapakeha Survey District aforesaid, to
the Whareama River; thence by that river to its confluence
with the Mangapakeha Stream; thence towards the South-
west by Subdivision No. 1, hereinbefore described; and thence
towards the North-west by the Taueru River to the north-
western corner of Section No. 157, Mangapakeha Survey Dis-
trict aforesaid; and thence by a right line to the westernmost
corner of Section No. 175 aforesaid, the place of commence-
ment.

Subdivision No. 3.
Bounded towards the North-east by a right line from the
easternmost corner of Section No. 29, Puketoi Survey District, to
the Pakowai River at its intersection by the south-western boun-
dary-line of Section No. 477, Aohanga Survey District; thence
by that section and Sections Nos. 476, 475, and 474, Aohanga
Survey District aforesaid, and Sections Nos. 473, 472, and 471,
Castlepoint Survey District, to the Tinui River; thence towards
the South-east by that river to its confluence with the Whare-
ama River; and thence towards the West and North-west by
Subdivision No. 2, hereinbefore described, to the north-western
corner of Section No. 833, Mangapakeha Survey District;
thence by Sections Nos. 822, 161, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196, 31,
30, and 29, Puketoi Survey District aforesaid, to the easternmost
corner of the last-mentioned section, the place of commence-
ment.

Subdivision No. 4.
Bounded towards the North by Waipawa County; thence
towards the South-east by a right line bearing south (magnetic)
to the northernmost corner of Section No. 28, Puketoi Survey
District; thence by the north-eastern boundary-line of that sec-
tion to the easternmost corner of Section No. 29, Puketoi Survey
District aforesaid; thence by Subdivision No. 3, hereinbefore
described; thence towards the South-west by Subdivision No.
2, hereinbefore described, to the westernmost corner of Section
No. 175, Puketoi Survey District aforesaid; thence towards the
North-west by Sections Nos. 128 and 127 to the Waitawhiti
Stream; thence again towards the South-west and towards the
West by that stream and the Tiraumea River to the confluence
of the latter with the Manawatu River, the place of com-
mencement.

Subdivision No. 5.
Bounded towards the North-east by Sections Nos. 718, 719\
720, 721, 722, 723, and 724, Castlepoint Survey District; thence
towards the South-east by the ocean to the mouth of the
Whareama River; thence towards the South-west by that river to
