Boundaries of Road Districts in North Island defined
under "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

IN pursuance of the provisions of subsection 9 of section 3 of
"The Road Boards Act, 1882," I hereby define the
boundaries of all road districts in existence in the North Island
of New Zealand on the coming into operation of the said Act,
and of the subdivisions of such road districts at the date hereof,
as follows.

NORTH ISLAND.

MONGONUI COUNTY.

Whangaroa North Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North and North-east by the ocean, from the East
Head of Whangaroa Harbour to the Takou River; thence
towards the South-east and South by a line along the middle
of that river, the Taraire River, and the Waiwakapirau Stream
to the north-eastern boundary-line of Spickman's land; thence
towards the South-west by a road forming the north-eastern
boundary of Spickman's land aforesaid; thence by a right line
to the mouth of the Waikoura Stream; and thence towards the
West generally by Whangaroa Harbour aforesaid, to the place
of commencement.

Kaeo Road District.
All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North and East by the Whangaroa North Road
District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Wai-
koura Stream to the easternmost corner of Section No. 24,
Parish of Kaeo, Kaeo Survey District; thence by the eastern
boundary-line of that section and of Sections Nos. 25 and 26,
Parish of Kaeo aforesaid; thence by the Katiaka Stream
to the boundary-line between King's and Shepherd's land;
thence by that boundary-line to the north-eastern corner of
Shepherd's land aforesaid known as Upokorau and Waiari
Block; thence towards the South-east and South-west by the
southern boundary-line of that land until it joins the eastern
boundary-line of Joyce's land; thence again towards the East
and towards the South by the eastern and southern boundary-
lines of Joyce's land aforesaid to the southern boundary-line
of the Matawherohia Block; thence by that boundary-line;
thence towards the West by the western boundary-line of the
Parish of Matawherobia, Kaeo Survey District aforesaid, to the
Pupuke River; thence by that river to Whangaroa Harbour;
and thence towards the North generally by that harbour to the
place of commencement.
