Vaccination Stations appointed for Districts of Popotuna and Winton.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several places mentioned in the second column of
the Schedule hereto as and to be places at which Public Vaccinators appointed for the respective districts mentioned in the first
column of the said Schedule shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I do hereby give
notice that each such Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid, for the purpose of performing such vacci-
nation, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each such place;
and, further, that at each such place as last aforesaid the Public Vaccinator will attend for the purpose of inspecting the progress
of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated on the days and at the hours respectively set forth in the fourth column of the
said Schedule opposite the name of each such place.

SCHEDULE.

District for which Public Vaccinator appointed. Place where Vaccination to be performed. Days and Hours fixed for Performance of Vaccination. Days and Hours fixed for Inspecting the Progress of Vaccination.
Popotuna The residence of Dr. Low, Clinton Every Saturday, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Every Saturday, from 12 noon until 1 p.m.
Winton The Police Station, Winton Third Tuesday in each month, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon Fourth Tuesday in each month, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon
Winton The Courthouse, Lumsden Third Wednesday in February, May, and October, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Fourth Wednesday in February, May, and October, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve.

WHEREAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is,
amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may
declare his intention to make, change, exchange, or alter the
dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in Her
Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in
Class II. of the Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be
granted or not; and, in the case of any reserves made under the
authority of section one hundred and forty-four of "The Land
Act, 1877," if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expe-
dient to change the purpose of such reserves or any part thereof
from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set
apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the
Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised
in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated
to one or more purposes named in the said Class II., the
Governor may, by notice in the Gazette, declare his intention
to make such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may
be, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which
the same is intended to be so made:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
"The Public Reserves Act, 1881," aforesaid, declare my
intention to change the specific purpose of the reserve de-
scribed in the first column of the Schedule hereto to the specific
purpose set opposite such description in the second column of
the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Description and Purpose of Reserve. Intended Purpose.
All that parcel of land situate in the Southland Division of the Provincial Dis-trict of Otago, containing by admeasure-ment 10 acres, more or less, being part of Section No. 19, Block VII., Invercargill Hundred. Bounded towards the North-west by a public road, 1037.5 links; on the East by other part of said Section No. 19, 1138.5 links; on the South by other part of said Section No. 19, 1000 links; and on the West by a road, 861.8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as shown on the record map in the Survey Office, Invercargill. Purchased by the Superintendent of Southland upon trust for the public service of the Province of Southland. For a site for a school.

this twenty-third day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-three.

Districts of Manukau, One-Tree Hill, East Tamaki, Otahuhu,
Manurewa, Mangere, Paparoa, Turanga, and Onehunga, from
the 31st March, 1883, vice W. G. P. O'Callaghan, absent on
leave.
